Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for the first time organised a unique record-breaking event in Ayodhya where 101 Shakhas were conducted at the same time on the banks of the river Sarayu. Thousands of RSS Swayamsevaks were part of this mega event in Ayodhaya. The 101-Shakha event was organised to showcase the importance of Shakha in nation building.
The Shakhas were conducted for one hour where the Swayamsevaks played traditional games, performed Yoga and exercises, and also participated in intellectual discussions. Addressing the Swayamsevaks who were part of the Shakha Mahakumbh, Mithilesh Narayan, Bhauddik Pramukh of Eastern UP Region of RSS, said that the Swayamsevaks of the Sangh work with a common goal which is to attend Shakha every day and take inspiration from the same Shakha and work for building a strong nation brick by brick. It is due to the service and sacrifices of lakhs of Swayamsevaks for Bharat Mata, we are able to see the recent positive changes in the society today. He said that the Sangh does not work on any task as a reaction to something else. RSS work is always towards the betterment of the society and nation, he said.
Presiding over the event, Dr I Banerjee said that RSS is involved in service to the society. By organizing such a mega event, the Shakha Mahakumbh has showcased the strength and determination of the RSS to the society.
