Kotdwar: Veteran Sangh Pracharak Shri Indresh Kumar while speaking at a five-day yoga camp organised at Vaidik Gurukulam for Muslims said most countries in the world have accepted yoga for better health of body and mind. Hence, everyone should adopt yoga for healthy life.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati from Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, said there is a necessity to understand the meaning and strength of ‘yoga’. Prime Minister has understood the meaning and strength and today 190 countries are celebrating the Yoga Diwas. He said yoga is not bound to any religion but enjoins all religions.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said yoga is for all humanity and it was wrong to equate it with any particular religion or way of worship. He emphasised practising yoga for a healthy body and mind. Shri Rawat further said yoga is accepted by the world and thus made it above any religion. Prime Minister Modi also gave a similar message to the people regarding yoga.
