Shri Bhagwat further said merely having good qualities is not enough we all must make efforts to make the entire country good through our qualities. What is expressed through art influences the heart directly. Referring to the work of Dinanath Mangeshkar he said God perhaps had made him for the art. Whatever he was blessed by the nation, he used that for the nation. His plays instil in us patriotism. It was very effective during the freedom movement. His family has maintained that tradition.

Lata Mangeshwar donated Rs one crore for the help of the soldiers who were martyred during Pulwama terrorist attack. This amount was accepted by CRPF DG Shri Vijay Kumar. Lata Mangeshkar could not join the function due to poor health. Her sister Usha Mangeshwar presented the amount to Shri Vijay Kumar. Other artists also presented Rs 18 lakh to the CRPF.
