Lok Sabha today passed the bill providing 10 per cent reservation in jobs and education to economically weaker sections in the general category.
A day after the Union Cabinet approved the proposal, a Constitutional Amendment Bill was tabled in Parliament on Tuesday.
While 323 MPs voted in favour of the bill, three voted against it, after hours of discussion. AIADMK opposed the bill and staged a walkout.
