Five-judge Constitution bench constituted for #AyodhyaCase ; Hearing will begin from January 10

The Supreme Court constituted a five-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi to hear the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi case. The bench, comprising the Chief Justice, Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Justice N. V. Ramana, Justice Uday Lalit and Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, will begin hearing on the case on January 10.
The court is hearing petitions challenging the Allahabad High Court ‘s decision to divide the disputed land in three parts.
According to the Allahabad High Court verdict in 2010, the disputed land has been divided among three petitioners.
The Supreme Court will now begin hearing the appeals filed by those petitioners.
