Jammu: “Need of the hour is that we should remove all our collective impurity and accord highest respect to women and daughters. This is the only way to make ourselves modern,” said RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi, while addressing a function held by Purmandal Uttarvahini Tirath Seva Nyas J&K at Purmandal on December 27. RSS J&K Prant Sanghachalak Brig. Suchet Singh and Shri Ram Krishan Das were also present on the occasion.

The Sarkaryavah further said that in Indian tradition, rivers and trees and all living beings are considered elements of god. That is why Hindus are tolerant and are liked by all countries of the world for being peaceful and respectful to all people. Stressing on clean environment he said only worshiping the nature and rivers will not make them clean. He stressed on Ganga, Earth, Cow, Nature and Women. These five mothers, he said, are axis of the human consciousness. If these are taken care of, all the ills of human beings will be eradicated. He also called for keeping the temples and pilgrimage centres clean.

Chairman of Purmandal Seva Nyas Tirath Shri Suresh provided historical and cultural significance of Purmandal. A book on the importance of ‘Purmandal Mokshadayni Gupt Ganga’ was also released.
