News Round-UP : RSS Pratinidhi Sabha to begin in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the highest decision making and policy formulation body of RSS, will meet from March 19 to 21 at Sri Amrita Vishwa Vidhyashram. RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Shri Bhayyaji Joshi will chair the three-day proceedings.

Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the highest decision making and policy formulation body of RSS, will meet from March 19 to 21 at Sri Amrita Vishwa Vidhyashram. RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Shri Bhayyaji Joshi will chair the three-day proceedings.
Briefing the mediapersons about the meeting at Coimbatore Press Club, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh Shri J Nandakumar said that the elected representatives of RSS, state level office bearers and national office bearers of the Sangh associated organisations will attend the meeting. Activities of all the organisations including Sewa Bharati, Samskrita Bharati, SAKSHAM, Kreeda Bharati, Vidya Bharati, ABVP, BJP, BMS, BKS, etc will be present at the meeting. Statewise activities of RSS will also be reviewed. Important national and social issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions will be passed. More than 1500 delegates are expected to participate in the meeting.

HR Nagendra and Chaitanya Maharaj Deglurkar honoured with Shri Guruji Puraskar

Mumbai: Noted spiritual leader Shri Chaitanya Maharaj Deglurkar and eminent yoga scholar Dr HR Nagendra were honoured with Shri Guruji Puraskar-2017 by RSS Jana Kalyan Samiti on March 6. Presenting the Puraskar, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale termed the selfless social workers as ‘Salt on Earth’ who might be less in number, but their presence is essential for the society. He said that yoga and modern science should come together to empower the country. He further expressed his views saying that everyone would die someday, but before death, one should dedicate oneself for the country. He applauded the efforts applied by both the awardees.
Former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission of India Dr Anil Kakodkar also lauded the efforts of both the awardees. He said, “Education, medical and agricultural sector should be promoted effectively in rural areas in order to boost the economy and to empower the people.” Receiving the Puraskar Shri Chaitanya Maharaj expressed that he was honoured to dedicate his life for the ‘Vaarkari’ people”. Dr HR Nagendra exclaimed that Yoga not only keeps us updated with the knowledge but also answers the journey of life.   

Body of 7- day kid donated to AIIMS

New Delhi. Baby Aanchal Gupta (son of Sh Suraj Gupta & Smt. Aanchal Gupta) was born on March 1 bringing joys  the family. However, the joy was short-lived. A few hours after the birth of the child, the parents were informed that his
arteries were not right and the child has also had suffered a mild-heart attack. The family shifted the child to AIIMS. On the seventh day of his birth, Aanchal underwent open heart surgery. But the child could not survive.
Arvind Ji, the grandfather of Aanchal Gupta and Suraj are RSS workers. Arvind said “It came to my mind that my pota is dead, but if in his death, he could serve the cause of Medical Sciences, his brief visit to this planet would be successful”. Arvind proposed that the body of baby Aanchal be donated to AIIMS. Suraj and Aanchal agreed and requested the AIIMS to accept the gift of the dead body for the purpose of Medical Education.
The Gift was organised through the prompt help of Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti. The body of baby Aanchal was donated to the AIIMS for medical studies. Dr Balram Airan, the officiating Director of AIIMS, welcomed it.   

Protests against Kerala killings continue

Kolkata/Hyderabad:The protest against left-sponsored killing of RSS-ABVP-BJP workers in Kerala continued second week also. A large number of people under the banner of ‘Manavadhikar Raksha Mancha’ took part in a huge rally in Kolkata on March 4. Carrying posters and placards they marched from College Square upto Rani Rashmoni Road at Esplanade. They condemned the terror and violence against the Hindu activists in Kerala led by CPM. At the end of the protest march at Rasmoni Road, the speakers warned the left parties for facing Hindu backlash all over India, if the communist menace in Kerala is not stopped forthwith.
A similar protest was held in Siliguri on March 6 under the banner of Jagran Manch. After the protest a memorandum was submitted to Divisional Officer of Siliguri for President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee requesting him to take necessary steps to establish peace so that the situation does not deteriorate further.
Strong protest was held at District headquarters under the banner of Kishtwar Nagrik Manch. The protesters urged the Government to act strictly against all the forces, which are bent upon ruining the image and national integrity of the country. The speakers urged the Central Government to intervene in the matter before the situation takes an ugly turn. A memorandum for the President of India was submitted through DDC Kishtwar.
More than 5,000 persons participated in the Maha Dharna organised by Jagruta Bharat at Martyrs Memorial Research Institute in Hyderabad on March 3. The protesters expressed anguish against the Kerala government’s silence on the issue. Former Andhra Pradesh DGP Dinesh Reddy offered insights on the history of communists and their track record of violence, while state BJP president Lakshman spoke about how the communists take inspiration from China and Russia. Vijaya Bharati of Prajna Bharati said, “The communists are unable to digest the fact that Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister.” Shri A Narasimha Reddy, Chairman of the Bar Council, said it is shocking how communists accuse the RSS members of being goondas while they themselves are involved in attacks every day. Social worker from Kannur Sri Sanjeev said, “More than 85 RSS and BJP workers have been killed in their district alone, which happens to be the hometown of Kerala CM Vijayan. RSS Kshetra Pracharak Sri Shyam Kumar recalled how Stalin had declared that “Intense hatred is our ideology”.   

Shri Guru Gobind Singh is an inspiration for all

Surat: RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhayyaji Joshi described Shri Guru Gobind Singh inspiration for not only the present but also for the future generations. Speaking at the 350th birth anniversary celebration of ­­­the great saint warrior Shri Bhaiyaji appealed to the people to follow his teaching. Gujarat CM Shri Vijay Rupani,  national president of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat Sardar Gurcharan Singh Gill, patron of Sangat Udghosh magazine Shri Avinash Jaiswal and many other people were also present on the occasion. Shri Rupani stressed the need to learn from the sacrifice and scholarness of Guruji. “This donation shall inspire many other people and enhance the cause of strong and healthy India,” said Speaker of Delhi Assembly Shri Ram Niwas Goyal while commenting on the donation.   

Dina Nath Batra turns 88

New Delhi: Renowned educationist Shri Dina Nath Batra turned 88 on March 5. More than a thousand people wished for his long life by joining a yajna organised at Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas office in Narayana Vihar. A book, ‘Acharya Ka Acharyatva Jage’, authored by Shri Batra was also released on the occasion. Prominent among those who joined the function included noted educationist
Dr JS Rajput, joint secretary of UGC Dr Pankaj Mittal.
