Campus Trouble : An ill-designed plot falls flat again

The Ramjas College episode has clearly exposed the secular, liberal, Islamist, Left. Sign of acche din?

Sandeep Singh
Shefali Vaidya on her Facebook post defined how controversies like Intolerance, Award Wapsi, Dadri, are played out. She says all these largely media- run campaigns of outrage have had a clear pattern since 2014. She defined the pattern in the following 7 steps:
1)    An event is carefully picked and  staged either just before or during a major election.
2)    Someone, preferably a woman, plays an agent provocateur first, and then plays the victim claiming ‘death threats and rape threats’, but no one goes to the police  to register a complaint.
3)    ‘Friendly’ journalists from the left-liberal ecosystem step in, propping up the claims of the ‘victim’. The victim is transferred from one TV studio to another,  and encouraged to give a carefully curated version of his/her story.
4)    Once enough ‘hawa’ is created, political parties opposed to the BJP take up the cause, almost always, AAP is the first one, followed by the Congress.
5)    Any voices politely questioning the narrative, no matter how credible or accomplished they are, are immediately termed ‘abusive, hateful, intolerant’ and massively trolled.
6)    In an amazing coincidence, the carefully orchestrated campaign reaches its crescendo around the last phase of the election campaign.
7)    Once the polling is over, the campaign is quietly withdrawn, sleeper cells are told to sleep again, till it is time to activate them during the next round of elections!
I couldn’t agree more. Following is a case study on Shefali’s frame work, point by point.
1)    Three phases of polling out of 7 phases in UP were over i.e. 209 seats and it was clear that the BJP is way ahead. In rest of 4 phases, 193 seats, i.e. almost 50% seats were at stake and the so-called secular, liberal, missionary, Islamist, left  unleashed their pogrom on  February 21.
Umar Khalid, son of a leader of banned SIMI, who conceived and organised program to commemorate the death anniversary of terrorist Afzal Guru where slogans like “Bharat tere tukde honge” were raised, and was charged with sedition, was invited by the Ramjas College as a speaker. The ABVP protested and invitation was withdrawn. Matter over.
2)    But this was not what secular, liberal, missionary, Islamist, left cabal wanted. They popped up Sheela Rashid who went to Ramjas College the next day without a locus standi and tried to create ruckus and by evening was seen on all possible television studios hale and hearty claiming that she was severely beaten by ABVP. Naturally the whole façade blew away, Second time within two days.
3)    Next, Gurmehar Kaur who opted to cash in on her father’s martyrdom (Captain Mandeep Singh, sacrificed his life for Mother India in Operation Rakshak in 1999) for some cheap publicity. “Rape threat” was used to condemn ABVP but without filling an FIR. Finally, the ABVP filed a complaint with Maurice Nagar police station against threats of rape to Gurmehar Kaur.
4)    This was followed by the march by political leaders such as Sitaram Yechury, D Raja, KC Tyagi and Yogendra Yadav. Arvind Kejriwal also jumped in the fray, meeting lieutenant governor Anil Baijal to press for action against people who threatened Gurmehar and were involved in campus violence.
5)    On Twitter, filmy Javed Akhtar trolled Olympic (2012) Medalist Yogeshwar Dutt  “If a hardly literate player or a wrestler troll a pacifist daughter of a martyr it’s understandable but what’s wrong with some educated folks,” after Dutt posted a photo mocking Gurmehar. The wrestler responded minutes later, saying he might not write poems but still made the country proud.
It was followed by expose by twitterati which claimed that rape threat to Gurmehar Kaur. was given by AISA member (http://postcard.news/big-breaking-the-truth-of-gurmehar-kaurs-staged-drama-of-fake-rape-threat-and-her-open-relation-with-aap-john-dayal-other-anti-national-forces-exposed/).
It was followed by the headline Gurmehar Kaur withdraws from Save DU campaign.
This is where this time, the secular, liberal, missionary, Islamist, left cabal strategy was disrupted by nationalists. This time the cabal had to use three of their comrades Umar Khalid, Sheela Rasheed and Gurmehar Kaur without any gain and had to fold up the entire drama within just two phases (4 & 5) of UP elections. They could drag Akhlaque, Kanhaya Kumar etc. for a longer time, now it is not possible anymore. They couldn’t reach the stage mentioned in Point 6 this time. (But they followed first 5 points to the T). Entire nation is now acquainted with their theatrics and more and more nationalist are coming out in the open to protest against the nuisance being created by secular, liberal, missionary, Islamist, left cabal in the name of freedom of expression.
The last year’s theatrics at different institutes across India by the Left- backed student organisations conclusively proves that there is a lack of leadership in the Left movement. Umar Khalid was associated with Democratic Student’s Union representing Communist Party of India (Maoist), Shehla Rashid represents All India Students’ Association (AISA) the student wing of the Communist Party of India (ML) Liberation, (both banned organisations) and Kanhaiya Kumar represents the AISF, the student wing of the Communist Party of India (CPI), and all the three have proved to be big disasters. At best they can give a competition to Arvind Kejriwal or Rahul Gandhi.
The Ramjas College episode has clearly demonstrated that not only the secular, liberal, missionary, Islamist, left cabal is exposed but is also bereft of leadership. Sign of acche din.
