Intro: Muslim goons, with open support of Samajwadi Party workers, rule the  roost, while Hindus are at the mercy of God.

Western Uttar Pradesh is burning again. Despite high alert on the part of the administration, Islamic miscreants create troubles at their will. The Intelligence agencies have warned of serious communal tensions if effective steps were not taken urgently. Minor incidents assume the form of riots and the police remain a mute spectator. One should not forget that Muzaffarnagar burnt in the fire of communal riots for over a month in 2013 on a minor incident of eve teasing only.
Today the situation is that even a minor Samajwadi Party worker unwantedly interferes in police matters and tries to spoil the law and order situation. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also admitted it on June 29 while addressing the party workers in Lucknow. In such a situation how can one expect the Administration to function properly?
The latest incidents of June 27 and 29 and also July 3 and 4 have created fresh tension in Western UP. These incidents are also bound to affect the outcome of theforthcoming Panchayat polls. IG Alok Sharma does not rule out the possibility of political interference in these incidents. The tension in Saharanpur is unbearable because few months back only the State Chief Secretary Debashish Panda and DGP Arvind Jain visited Saharanpur, Deoband and Shamli to know the ground reality. They had meetings with senior officers. But all those efforts proved futile.
According to reports, clash broke out between Hindus and Muslims over an old incident of eve teasing in Rampur Maniharan town of Saharanpur on the night of June 27. Around 9.30 pm a Muslim mob came out from a mosque and attacked the police team guarding the Hindus. A 22 year Muslim boy died in the police firing, while SHO Prem Singh Rana was seriously injured in the clash. Eyewitnesses say the policemen were less in number and if they  had not resorted to firing the casualties among the Hindus would have been high. The shameful fact is that under the pressure of Samajwadi Party leaders, an FIR was registered against the SHO itself under Section 302.
BJP MP from Kairana Hukum Singh raised strong objection against filing of the FIR against SHO. He said if SHO did not act tough the situation could have gone out of control. He said the SHO saved the lives of Hindus who were on the target of Muslims. Saharanpur MP Raghav Lakhanpal also called on the Hindus and assured them full protection. District Magistrate Indraveer Singh Yadav has ordered Magisterial enquiry by ADM OP Verma.
Even before the situation in Saharanpur was controlled, a Hindu youth Satbir was killed by four Muslims outside a mosque at Bhumma Village under Mirapur Police Station of Muzaffarnagar on June 29. The incident took place when DIG Dr Ashok Raghav had put the administration on high alert in all sensitive areas of Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Saharanpur Deoband and Behat. The police have arrested Yakoob S/o Ayub and Mona S/o Salim for the murder of Satbir. It is to be noted that Satbir was an eyesore in the eye of Muslims since the Muzaffarnagar riots, as he had saved the Hindus from the Muslim rioters.
Amidst high alert, a mob of Muslims attacked Valmikis in Deoband on the night of July 2. PAC was deployed in Nakur, Sarsawa, Gangoh and Teetron as precaution. But it had no impact in Deoband, because on July 4 also another Valmiki youth, Shiva, was seriously injured by a gang of Muslims. The terror of the Muslim goons was so high that nobody came forward to even take Shiva to hospital. When the Muslim gang attacked Valmiki youth in Deoband, ADG Daljit Singh and IG Meerut Zone Alok Sharma were discussing the law and order situation in Saharanpur. DIG Dr Ashok Raghav said they have deployed 17 companies of PAC and RAF. Seven companies have been deployed in Saharanpur and rest have been deployed in  Muzaffarnagar  and Shamli.    –Surender Singhal
