Kochi: By adding lot of dignitaries along with lakhs of Sri Krishna devotees, Balagokulam once again proved the Hindu Movement all over Kerala on its Janmashtami celebrations. In every district of Kerala there was transformation of all streets into Ambadi. Because of large-scale scandal and minority appeasement by Government and also very big threat by Islamic terrorism general public still have an insecurity feeling all over Kerala. Once again RSS and its allied organisations proved that every Hindu is united in the name of Sri Krishna.

In Kerala, from each and every home there will be a Krishna or Radha as an offering to Sri Krishna Jayanthi procession, now it’s more than a tradition but as ritual. Every member of Balagokulam works for at least one month to visit all the houses and every district committee arranges programmes like Krishna Geet completion, Sri Krishna based painting and drawing competition and also cultural programmes, seminar and finally family get together and after that Sobhayatra-grant procession will be scheduled. It is now a common scenario that all the political leaders are coming to see and participate irrespective of party politics. Dr Debashish Chattterjee, director of IIM-Kozhikkode, inaugurated the celebrations in Kozhikkode. Similarly, Dr G Mdhavan Nair, former chairman of ISRO and Secretary, Department of Space, and Dr MC Dileep Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Sri Sankara Sanskrit University, inaugurated the celebrations in Thiruvanantha-puram and Kochi respectively.
