Rashtra Sevika Samiti strongly condemned the growing crimes against women in Delhi and other parts of the country. Following the incident of rape in Delhi, a meeting of different women organisations was called in Delhi. Many women leaders, including the BJP women wing president Smriti Irani and Akhil Bharatiya Sah Karyavahika of the Samiti Smt Asha Sharma, attended the meeting. The women organisations stressed the need to start a helpline for women in stress and also to restore the Indian values in families and society.

The women leaders also stressed the need to make the women so much strong that they could protect not only themselves but also the society. According to Delhi Prachar Pramukh of the Samiti Smt Kavita Vishnoi, the women organisations decided to pressurise the state governments to again include moral education in the curriculum. They warned of an agitation against the governments if they fail to do that. (FOC)
