“MEANS may be different for the development, but the vision should be the same. We can make the country a superpower only if we all move together in the same direction with the same objective,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat. He was releasing a book, Naye Bharat Ka Nirman in New Delhi on September 27. The book, written by Shri Sandip Vasalekar, has been published by Prabhat Prakashan, New Delhi. Shri Anand Kumar, founder of Super 30, presided over the function. Scores of intellectuals and distinguished people of Delhi were present on the occasion.
Shri Bhagwat said the country has the potentiality and adequate means to become a superpower, but we lack a long-term vision to achieve the objective. “Since Independence, the country has not been able to focus on a single vision and has changed it as per the prevailing circumstances. We have not set out a long-term vision since Independence. We need a long-term vision and faith in our capabilities,” he said adding that the countries like the US and China have not helped the world community despite becoming superpowers. Once India achieves the superpower status, it can breathe a new life in the world.
In an oblique attack on politicians, he said India was facing a credibility crisis as people we see daily are not considered trustworthy and those who can be trusted are not in limelight. He said people who are doing selfless work should understand that they are not alone. It is not necessary that they do the same thing, but they should work towards a similar goal, he added.
Presiding over the function Shri Anand Kumar said a large number of youth are working in the country for development of the nation, but they need to be given a vision. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Rameshwar, Uttar Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Bajranglal Gupta and Shri Shyam Sunder Agarwal of Prabhat Prakashan were also present on the occasion.          (FOC)
