VETERAN journalist Shri Dinanath Mishra was honoured with lifetime achievement award by Indian Media Centre (IMC) at its Delhi state convention held in New Delhi on September 1. The award consists of a memento and certificate.
Shri Mishra has contributed greatly to Hindi journalism and is a source of inspiration for  many journalists. He struggled high to keep up the spirit of mission in journalism. Though, Shri Mishra attended the function, he could not speak due to sickness. In a written message he thanked the IMC for felicitating him. “For some time I was in isolation due to sickness. But the IMC made me feel respected at this hour of isolation,” he said.
Former editor-in-chief of the Tribune Shri Hari Jai Singh, senior journalists Shri Shyam Khosla, Shri Shivaji Sarkar, Smt Rajni Nagpal, Dr Vinita Gupta and Shri KG Suresh were also present on the occasion. (FOC)
