—Mohan Bhagwat

“The people who have chosen the tedious path of social service, should not turnaround in midway; that is the rule of the game,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat while recently inaugurating a teachers training camp of Vidya Bharati in Indore. The two-day camp, Vaman Drishti Mahashivir, was organised on the occasion of silver jubilee of the Saraswati Vidya Pratishthan. About 11,000 teachers, who have vowed to teach the children in rural and Vanvasi areas for next few years, participated in the camp.

Addressing the teachers Shri Bhagwat said first you may face opposition and criticism. But the next will come praises. “We have to ignore both of them and also other hurdles to achieve our task. The education must be inspired by dharma and should relate to dharma,” he said.  Recalling the triumph story of Vaman, Vishnu’s avatar, over the king Bali, Shri Bhagwat said Vaman did not asked for himself but asked for the society and the humanity at large.

The Sarsanghachalak appealed to Vidya Bharati graduates to work for the upliftment of Vanvasis. He called upon the audience to keep in mind the story of Shivaji, who despite having domain on relatively small area thought for the entire country. He also emphasised on the need for planning and thinking at least 25 years ahead. Vidya Bharati chairman Shri Govind Sharma, Shri Brahmdev Sharma, Shri Roshanlal Saxena, general secretary Shri Narendrasinh Rawal, organising secretary Shri Prakashchandra, joint organising secretary Shri Kashipati, vice president Shri D Ramkrishna Rao, etc were also present.
