RSS Sewa Darshan Mela a big hit

The two-day Sewa Darshan Mela, organised by Delhi unit of RSS Sewa Vibhag at Geeta Bal Bharati School, Krishna Nagar, from November 12 to 13, proved to be a big hit. More than two lakh Delhiites visited the Mela and had a glimpse of the service activities being carried out by different organisations, mostly associated with the RSS.

Former RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Premchand Goel also visited the Mela. Earlier, Swami Raghwananda, Shri Shyam Parande of Sewa International, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Rameshwar, Shri Jaiprakash Agrawal and Shri Ashish Gautam of Divya Prem Sewa Mission, Haridwar inaugurated the Mela. During the Mela, many people filled forms for eyes, blood and body donation. The biggest crowed was witnessed at the stall of Samskrit Bharati where people were being taught Samskrit Sambhashan.

Apart from the exhibition of different service activities, health camps for orthopedic, eyes, gynaecology, dental, etc. were also organised. Thousands of people drew benefit of the services. The prominent organisations which participated in the Mela included Sewa Bharati, Prasanna Counselling Centre, Samskrit Bharati, Vivekananda Kendra, Saksham, Balagokulam, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Ganga Sewa Sanstha, Sampoorna, Shri Shyam Blood Donors Organisation, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Dadhichi Dehdan Samiti, Chapual project of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad, Shri Ram Sanskritik Shodh Sansthan, Bharatiya Janata Party, Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Vidya Bharati, Vivekananda Medical Mission, National Medicos Organisation, Sewa International, Deendayal Research Institute, Rashtriya Sewa Bharati, etc.
