Sewa Bharati dedicates more houses to flood victims in Karnataka

Sewa Bharati dedicated another bunch of 52 newly-constructed houses to flood victims at Raichur in North Karnataka on October 7. In a meaningful function organised at Aprala village under Devadurga Taluk, the houses were handed over to the beneficiaries.

The houses were dedicated as part of the flood relief activities by the Sewa Bharati. Prof K Narahari, national president of the Akhil Bharatiya Shaikshik Mahasangh handed over the houses to the flood victims. This was the 6th phase of the house dedication by Sewa Bharati. It has already handed over more than 1,000 houses to the victims.

Shri Venkatesh Sagar, Prant Sewa Pramukh, Shri KS Nagabhushan, senior Sangh Pracharak, Shri N Dinesh Hegde, general secretary of Rashtrotthana Parishat, Shri Shavana Gouda Nayak, MLA and several other leaders were present at the function. Sewa Bharati is constructing 1,680 houses in 11 villages spending Rs 22 crore. Each house measures 300 sq feet built at the cost of Rs 1.40 lakh.
