KARYAKARINI and Pratinidhi Mandal meeting of Rashtra Sevika Samiti was organised in Khadgpur, West Bengal, from February 17 to 19. Delegates from all Prants participated in the meeting. Apart from the celebration of birth centenary year of Bhagini Nivedita, the meeting also discussed in detail the action plan for the expansion of Bal Shakhas all over the country. Since the Bal Shakhas are backbone of the Samiti’s work, the Samiti has declared this year as the Bal Shakha year. All senior leaders of the Samiti including Pramukh Sanchalika Pramilatai Medhe were present at the meeting. In a resolution the Samiti appealed to all the social, religious and cultural organisations of the country to work for the restoration of moral values in the country which is the answer of the immoral activities like corruption and other crimes. “If we wish to make Bharat corruption-free, we shall have to restore the Indian values of life in the society,” the resolution said.
