“LACK of will power in the ruling parties both at J&K and Centre has kept the Kashmir imbroglio alive over the decades. Short sightedness about the whole issue made Kashmir to be in trouble for decades. Leaders should have enough courage, conviction to solve the crisis. There is a need of creating nationwide strong public opinion about the issue,” said RSS National Executive Member Shri Ram Madhav. He was addressing an intellectual gathering in Bengaluru on February 20. The programme was organised by Manthana, an intellectual forum. Pointing at the recent developments he said the State Government allowed separatists to hoist Pakistani flag at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, but arrested the patriots who were trying to unfurl the tricolour there on Republic Day. Presiding over the function Lt Col (retd) Shri GRV Prasan said there are both local and foreign militants creating disturbance each day in Kashmir. Not only the army but the common men are also disturbed by the daily violence, he said. (VSK, Bengaluru)
