AKHIL Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat organised a seminar in New Delhi to celebrate the national consumer day on December 24. The seminar, organised on the topic of Corruption Free India, was presided over by former Union Minister Dr Subramanian Swamy. Speaking on the occasion he said the hike in onion and potato prices is government sponsored.

Former Vice Chancellor of Mahrishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, Dr Purushottam Chaturvedi said the donation charged by the educational institution is nothing but a kind of corruption and it should stop. Chairman of Agrasen Sansthan Dr Nandkishor Garg appealed to the people to expose the corruption through PILs in different courts. He also advised them to use RTI and consumer laws for the protection of their rights. A diary published by the Grahak Panchayat was also released on the occasion. (FOC)
