TARGETTED directly at the youth, the book is a How To and What To about jobs and careers available today and how to go about getting them.

Starting with How To Plan Your Career an the Need For Career Counselling, the book delves into the options and the need to do a self-assessment, your interests, and your hobbies while choosing your career.

“Every person looks forward to a rewarding career in one’s life. How do you find the jobs that you would love to do? What is your earning potential? Which job is best suited to your personality?” are the questions that need to be tackled, says the author.

According to Saran, choosing a career is an important step because the whole future is at stake. Therefore, she says, in taking a decision “one must keep in mind one’s qualification, interests, knowledge, experience, if any, attitude, potentialities, and existing trends in the job market. Knowing your weaknesses and strength enables you to set a meaningful and attainable goal.”

A substantial part of the book Saran has devoted to listing and exploring different career opportunities in various fields.
