Coordination and consensus hold the key to the solution of any problem or issue facing the country. Ekatam vision leads us to evolve a system which ushers in welfare of everyone and this will take the country out of the present conditions of conflict and disharmony, said the RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Suresh Soni.

Shri Soni was speaking as the main speaker on the occasion of the release of the special issue of Kamal Sandesh ‘Vikalp’ (Hindi & English) on the occasion of the 42nd punyatithi of the Integral Humanism (Ektam Manavvaad) theory propounded by Pandit Deendayalji Upadhyay, at New Delhi on February 11. The special issue has been published by Dr Mookerjee Smriti Nyas, New Delhi.

The large compound, the venue of the function, was overflowing with the elite gathering that had thronged to grace the function.

The Chairman of BJP Parliamentary Party Shri Lal Krishna Advani was the chief guest and the BJP National President Shri Nitin Gadkari was the special guest at the function. Others who attended the function included BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) Shri Ram Lal, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Shri Arun Jaitley, General Secretaries Shri Ananth Kumar and Shri Vijay Goel, National Secretary Shri Balbir Punj, Party Spokespersons Shri Prakash Javadekar, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad and Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Delhi State President Prof. OP Kohli, Leader of Delhi BJP Vidhan Mandal Party Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Headquarters Incharge Shri Shyam Jaju, Shri Shah Nawaj Hussain, Dr. Harshvardhan, Shri Madan Lal Khurana, Mookerjee Smriti Nyas Secretary Dr NK Garg and Treasurer Shri Gopal Aggarwal, many MPs, MLAs and other senior leaders. National Secretary Shri Prabhat Jha compered the programme

If we ponder over the situation, we would find that all the problems facing the country and the world flow from the three root causes: religious conceptions, economic and political ideologies, and development of science and technology, said Shri Soni. We present many options to solve these problems, but not to speak of solution, in the process new problems crop up, he said. When we think of alternatives, we feel that there is need for other options in thought, management and values of life. If we certainly wish to find out other options and alternatives, we must take these aspects also into consideration emphasised Shri Soni.

Speaking about the Vikalp Shri Soni said the issue contains in-depth analysis by eminent writers of issues concerning education, society, agriculture, administration and system of justice, etc. The articles also present solutions to many of the burning problems facing the nation.

Addressing the large gathering, Shri Lal Krishna Advani said that BJP is moving on the path shown by Shri Deendayalji. All the BJP governments and where BJP is in power as an alliance partner are functioning on his antodaya vision giving special attention to the poorest of the poor, he said.

Shri Advani referred to the experiment launched by the BJP government led by Shri Narendra Modi by organising ‘Melas’ for welfare of the poor. This programme has been a great success and lakhs of poor have benefitted from this programme, he said.

Shri Advani said it was due to the vision of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh and Pandit Deendayalji that the one-party dominance in country’s politics ended and paved the way for bipolar politics. He said it was Dr. Mookerjee who initiated, for the first time, the alliance politics by forming the National Democratic Front with 31 MPs in the Parliament in 1952. It was in furtherance of this ideology and path shown by both the leaders that BJP formed the National Democratic Alliance which ultimately ruled the country for six years under Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee as the Prime Minister, said Shri Advani.

Shri Gadkari said, “Pandit Deendayalji was a great visionary and thinker whose socio-economic thinking is guiding our way.” One should always, follow the motivating thoughts of the past to formulate a great future, he added.

“We have the potential to become the most powerful country in the world but we have to use our resources in right channel to get the desired results”, Shri Gadkari said.

Nyas Secretary Shri Nand Kishore Garg said that by bringing out special annual issues, the Nyas has tried to address the problems facing the country. Treasurer Shri Gopal Aggarwal thanked the leaders and the audience for making the function a great success.
