VISHWA Hindu Parishad strongly reacted over the recent blasts in Pune and demanded immediate dismantling of the local modules of the terrorists. In a statement issued from Mumbai on February 14, VHP central secretary Prof. Venkatesh Abdeo said after 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Shri P Chidambaram had issued statement stating that “if terrorists and militants from Pakistan try to carry out attack in India, they will not only be defeated but will also be retaliated very strongly”. “Now all indications denote involvement of Headley or his syndicate. Time has come for Shri Chidambaram to put his words into action and retaliate against Pakistan. All the people associated with Headley should be arrested even if they are from entertainment industry. Accordingly, the local terrorist modules have to be dismantled, unless the roots of terrorism are defeated, terror attacks will continue to occur. Peace talks and appeasement policies are not the way to tackle terrorism,” Shri Abdeo said in the statement.(FOC)
