“Sewa work is not the medium to gain publicity or using it as a tool achieve political power. It is purely a way to serve the needy people without expecting anything. The workers engaged in service activities should present the sewa work in a way that it attracts other people of the society also to contribute in the work,” said Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Sitaram Kedilaya. He was inaugurating the website of Sewa Bharati Delhi (www.sewabharati.org) on June 26. He said the root cause of growing number of Sewa Bastis in cities is migration of people from rural areas in search of jobs, etc. He stressed the need to protect the village and the cow to protect the real Indian culture. Leaders of some organisations working in the service field were honoured at the meeting by Sewa Bharati. A souvenir, Sewa Punj, was also released. Kshetra Pracharak Shri Rameshwar also spoke on the occasion. Akhil Bharatiya Sahsewa Pramukh Shri Suhasrao Hiremath, Kshetra Sewa Pramukh Shri Srinivas Murty were also present.
