RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi called on leading Jain saint Acharya Vijay Ratnasunder Surishwar Maharaj in New Delhi on May 1. Bhaiyaji and Acharyaji had discussion on various vital issues concerning the nation today for about an hour. Acharyaji raised the issue of election reforms and stressed the need to motivate maximum voters to cast their vote. He said politics was fast losing credibility due to criminalisation and corruption practices. He said one of the major reasons of declining credibility of politicians is that good people with high moral values are not joining it. He also stressed the need to engage the social and cultural organisations joining active politics. He also raised the issues of sex education, export of meat and surfacing some evil practices in the celebration of some religious festivals. He specifically mentioned the Garba and Dandia Ras performed during the Navratras and consumption of liquor even during the Ganesh festival. He stressed the need to take some concrete steps for curbing such evil practices.
