Birth anniversary of Shivaji celebrated in Delhi

Birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji was celebrated in Delhi on February 19. Swayamsevaks at Rajinder Nagar shakha paid floral tribute at the shakha, while the Sampark Vibhag in association with R Block Residents Welfare Association, Rajendra Nagar, organised another function at Mangal Pandey Park in the evening. The statue of Shivaji was garlanded. The Park has been renovated by the efforts of local MCD councillor Shri Mool Chand Chavla. Addressing the gathering Shri Chavla spoke on the life of Shivaji and appealed to the people to draw inspiration from the great personality. Shri Ravinder Pal Singh, general secretary of Delhi BJP, spoke on how the country can tide over the dangerous move of Pakistan. Shri Rakesh Dureja and Shri CK Chadha also spoke on the occasion.
