Like other states, Karnataka prant also celebrated the Vijayadashami mahotsava with full joy and colour.
In Bangaluru alone Vijayada-shami mahotsava was held at seven different places.
At every place around 300-350 swayamsevaks gathered to celebrate the mahotsava. All swayamsevaks also participated in pathsanchalans in poorna ganavesh. Pathsan-chalans at all seven places started at the same time.
BJP MP, Anant Kumar also participated in a pathsanchalan. All swayamsevaks marched around three km from Sanghasthan along with ghosh instrument. People along the both sides of the road were standing and waiting with flowers to greet the swayamsevaks.
Shri Ranga Swamiji, Shankarpuram Vibbhag Sanghachalak, Shri Y.K Raghawendra Rao, National Vice-president, VHP and Sanghachalak, Bangaluru, also participated in the function.
