Material required
* Three ice-cream sticks.
* A matchstick.
* Two rubber bands.
* A knife.
Method
* On one ice-cream stick make semi-circular grooves on both ends with a knife.
* On the second ice-cream stick make a groove at one end and the other end be halved and chipped into a rounded end.
* On the third stick make a groove on one end and sharpen the other end with the knife into a pointed edge as seen in a knife blade.
* Place a matchstick between the first and the second ice-cream sticks as shown in the diagram.
* Hold these two sticks in place by passing the rubber band over them.
* Attach the third ice-cream stick with the pointed edge on the other end, again with the help of another rubber band.The knife edge should point outwards.
How to play
* To lock the knife, turn the blade inside and place it in the position shown in the diagram. The blade will remain in this position.
* On pressing the rear end (A), the blade flicks open in a fraction of a second to your surprise and to the surprise of everyone else.
