Fourth triennial conference of Anganwadi Karmachari Mahasangh in Ujjain

Fourth triennial conference of Akhil Bharatiya Anganwadi Karmachari Mahasangh was held in Ujjain from June 15 to 16. Minister of Child Development of Madhya Pradesh Smt. Kusum Mehede, Minister of State Smt. Meena Singh, Education Minister Shri Paras Jain were also present at the conference. Speaking on the occasion, BMS president Shri Girish Awasthi said the duty of the welfare state is being performed by Anganwari workers who are kept out of social justice. He exhorted the workers to unite under the banner of BMS to fight for their demands. In afternoon, a colourful rally involving more than 15,00 delegates began from Lok Manya Tilak Vidyalaya and converted into a public meeting at Shivaji Park. The conference elected Smt. Asha Mandalik (Bhopal) as president, Smt. Premwati (Delhi) as working president and Sushri Prabha Chavda (Gujarat) as general secretary. Sushiri Suchitra Mahapatra was given the responsibility of organising secretary of the Mahasangh  (Vishwakarma Sanket)
