Infiltration from the neighbouring country Bangladesh to West Bengal, the attached province of Bhatrat is going on in full swing through legal and illegal process. The legal process is such as received from police sources, at least 12 thousand Bangladeshis have not gone back to that country coming with passport & visa and such all legal procedures. Even it has come to notice to the foreign and Home department of India as their staying period has already been covered. The concerned department has no news about those who came with legal documents. Recently the Central Home department has ordered the state government to trace out them and then push back. Although the circular has come to the state government in this regard to the state and Kolkata police, but they are doing nothing to execute that as there is no pressure upon them from the state. So the Bangladeshis are staying here safely.
We have heard about infiltration so far. There are more than two thousand kilometers of Indo-Bangladesh border with so many areas without fence at all. During long tenure of more than thirty years a sum of at least one crore Bangladeshis have entered in to West Bengal, managed ration card by the ruling party and have become permanent resident, overflowing the party'svote bank. The matter of great misgiving is that, they are enjoying all sorts of facilities offered by the state for the legal citizens. At the sametime those persons are damazing the economy of the country.
The most dubious matter is that the Central Home Department warned about the state authority. In almost all cases the given address of the Bangladeshis where they have registered to stay are found false. Even in the particular name that the passport and visa issued are not actual. The Secret Services Bureau or S S B, the department deals with the foreign citizen, expressed anxiety about the motive of those who have been vanished.
They might have started business, gone to another state or may disappear for other causes also, all these are hypothetical about them, police authorities are in dark about them.
Another advantage for them is? Indian Rail Authority is going to start Kolkata- Dhaka passenger train on first day of Baisakh, the Bengali new year day. What will be in future is not accessible.
