Learn Sanskrit staying at home

Senior Sangh activist and Sanghachalak of Majhola, Pilibhit (Uttar Pradesh), Brij Narayan Tewari, passed away on September 8 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He was 82. He is father of Shri Jitendra Tewari, senior sub-editor in Panchjanya. Despite the growing age he was active in the Sangh work and still he used to attend the daily shakha. Recently he fell down while playing with swayamsevaks at the shakha. He received minor injury in his foot and thought that it would get well itself. But when the pain did not stop he was examined and it was found that a blood clot has developed, which caused serious infection. He was shifted to AIIMS in New Delhi. Doctors tried their best to cure it. At one stage the doctors advised to cut the leg. But he was not in favour of such a surgery. Apart from the social activities he was also actively associated with the activities of Saraswati Shishu Mandir.  (FOC)
