Shri Guruji birth centenary celebration in Meghalaya

Shri Guruji Birth Centenary Year celebration began in Meghalaya on April 29 with a function held at Asom Kristi Kendra, a big auditorium in the heart of Shillong. The state celebration committee has planned to recollect Shri Guruji'slife and mission by way of organising various functions across the state. The function began with lighting the traditional lamp. A welcome song was sung by 12 students from Seng Khasi Nongdom School, West Khasi. Speaking at the function, Shri Ram Madhav, member, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini, said Shri Guruji was a spiritual person and had a heart-to-heart contact with each and every person who came in contact with him. Dr L.S. Dhar, president of the state committee, Smt. Mira Dkhar, general secretary, Shri Chanlok Dkhar, vice president, Shri K.S. Maribniang, social worker and Shri Mangkashang Khongshei, senior Sangh functionary of the state also shared the dais. The children of Seng Khasi Mawlai unit performed traditional dance called Shad Mastieh. President of Seng Khasi Nongthymmai Shri K.S. Marbniang released a book on the life of Shri Guruji in Khasi language. The function concluded with Vande Mataram.
