?When Rajju Bhaiya wanted to relinquish the post of Sarsanghachalak due to bad health, he offered Seshadriji to take over the highest position. But Seshadriji suggested my name, saying that his health was too delicate and he would not be able to serve for a longer period. Although he had all qualities, he encouraged the younger swayamsevak to take up the responsibility as the Sarsanghachalak. For him work was important and not the position or status,? said Shri K.S. Sudarshan, RSS Sarsanghachalak while paying tribute to Seshadriji at the condolence meeting held in Bangalore.

Shri Sudarshan said Seshadriji was guiding him after Rajju Bhaiya passed away. ?Even though he was much more senior to me, he was giving suggestions with full respect to the Sarsanghachalak hierarchy,? he added. ?A large number of people from different parts of the country have assembled here due to their respect for Seshadriji'spersonality. Now we in the Sangh are in the fifth generation and Seshadriji belonged to the second generation. ?He was active till his last,? Shri Sudarshan said. He exhorted the Sangh swayamsevaks to concentrate on rural development, which was the dream of Seshadriji.
