Floral tributes in Delhi

Thousands of Sangh Swayamsevaks and activists of various social and political organisations thronged Keshav Kunj, RSS office in Delhi, to pay homage to veteran Sangh leader and Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh, H.V. Seshadri on August 15. Amidst recitation of Gayatri Mantra, Swayamsevaks lined up to pay floral tribute to the Sangh leader.

Remembering the senior Sangh leader, Shri Sahib Singh Verma, former Union Minister said Seshadriji truly materialised the Sangh philosophy and followed the path till he breathed his last. Dr Harsh Vardhan, Delhi BJP president described the death of Seshadriji as a major loss not only for the Sangh but also for the whole humanity. He said Seshadriji would always be an inspiration for the Sangh Swayamsevaks. ?He set the record of dedication, commitment and idealism before all of us. He was instrumental in spreading the service activities of the Sangh,? Dr Harsh Vardhan said.

Shri Atul Kothari, joint organising secretary of ABVP, said Seshadriji was a father figure in the whole organisation. ?He always emphasised on discipline and the daily shakha. Besides thousands of Swayamsevaks, noted thinker Shri Govindacharya, former speaker of the Delhi Assembly Shri Charati Lal Goel, Delhi Prant Sanghchalak Shri Satyanarayan Bansal, BJP leader Shri Omprakash Kohli, Delhi VHP president Shri Omprakash Singhal were among the prominent personalities who paid floral tribute to H.V. Seshadri in Delhi.

Talking to Organiser Shri Shantanu Raghunath Shende, national secretary of Vidya Bharati, said that the personality of Seshadriji attracted everybody whosoever visited him. ?He developed a place in the heart of lakhs of Sangh workers across the country. His memories will continue to guide and inspire all the workers,? he said.
