New building for Hindu Vidya Kendra

Working president of VHP, Shri Ashok Singhal, inaugurated the new building of Vishwa Hindu Vidya Kendra, a unit of VHP, Tamil Nadu, on June 2. The education wing of VHP, which began 20 years ago, now runs 17 higher secondary schools spread all over Tamil Nadu with a student strength of 18,000 and that of teachers 600. The new building that costs Rs 4 crore, was inaugurated at west Mambalam, Chennai. Shri S. Sampathkumar, president, Vidya Kendra and Shri S. Vedantam, secretary, Vidya Kendra were also present on the occasion.
