Pravasi Bharatiya
Aingh Goraya in Australia

Thank God Australia has been saved for peace and prosperity with the resounding victory of John Howard in the recent federal election. The sensitive Australian voters have voted overwhelmingly against the world terrorism. The massacre of the kids in Russia and the bombing of our embassy in Indonesia had a profound effect on the Australian mind. This is a verdict against the international terrorism. Moreover John Howard is an economic wizard. Even the pro-Labor the Age (Melbourne) admitted editorially a day before the elections that John Howard has managed the Australian economy well and he deserved to be the Prime Minister of Australia. The interest rates and the inflation are well under control and the Australian economy is the robust among the developed countries.

The ALP (Australian Labor Party) must learn a lesson from this electral disaster. Not only the ALP but the lefties the world over are under a delusion in their interpretation of the phenomena of the international terrorism. The Marxists the world over must understand that the terrorism the world over is not a class conflict but the Fascism at its worst and should be dealt with as such. The rout of the labor is not unpredictable. Even the pro-labor and anti-John Howard Kerry was forecasting a day before the elections in his famous 7.30 programme on the ABC television (though with a small blush) that the coalition was surging towards a landslide victory. The Australian elections had repercussions on the American Presidential election as well. President Bush is correct when he says that America is safer with Sadaam in jail. Like the fellow Australians the Americans too gave their verdict against terrorism by electing President Bush for the second term.
