Strongly criticising the recent decision of the Andhra Pradesh government to provide reservation to Muslims, the Rashtra Sevika Samiti has termed the reservation based on religion as anti-national. ?The Andhra Pradesh government'smove to provide reservation to Muslims is highly deplorable. The country has faced the severe pains of Partition due to such Muslim-appeasement policies. The Samiti feels that the move must be curbed before it acquires legal recognition,? stated a resolution adopted unanimously at the three-day all-India meeting of Samiti'ssenior activists in Nagpur. The resolution has appealed to countrymen to strongly oppose the Andhra government'santi-national move and prevent its entry in the state assembly. Otherwise such acts may further lead to another Partition. The Samiti has also warned the Andhra Pradesh government to withdraw the proposal in the interest of the nation or be ready to face the dire consequences that would result because of such moves.

In another resolution the Samiti warned the political parties and several state governments not to play with asmitia of the nation by distorting history of the country. ?Every country has its own history, tradition and culture which get transferred to the new generations through education. Our history of the freedom movement develops sprit of patriotism, bravery and self-respect among children. Even during the British rule the children were taught correct history. But now in Independent India, the children are being taught misleading and distorted history just to appease certain people and also to ensure that people do not develop the feeling of patriotism,? the resolution added.
