RSS Delhi Prant Sanghchalak, Satyanarain Bansal, has appealed to the countrymen to generously help the flood victims. Talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, he said that the Sangh Swayamsevaks of Assam and Bihar had been working day and night for the rescue and rehabilitation of the flood victims. He further said that the fury of flood in Assam and Bihar was worse than the floods of 1934 and 1988. ?Many villages have been swept away and the villagers have become homeless. Almost complete northern Bihar has been affected by the floods. The victims need immediate help,? he said. He urged specially the people of Delhi to remit their donations to Keshav Smarak Samiti, Keshav Kunj, Jhandewalan, New Delhi in cash, money order or bank draft drawn in favour of the Keshav Smarak Samiti, Delhi. He informed that the income-tax exemption under Section 80-G would be applicable on donations, which can also be sent to Sewa Bharati Poorvanchal, Guwahati, c/o RSS Office, Keshav Dham, K. B. Road, Paltan Bazar, Guwahati (Assam) 781001, and Keshav Gram Vikas Samiti, Madhukar Niketan, Kalam Bagh Chowk, P.O. Ramna, District Muzaffarpur-842002 (Bihar).
