MUMBAI: Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini organised a yuva sammelan at the Shanmukhananda Auditorium in Mumbai as part of the birth centenary celebrations of Ashok ji Singhal, a prominent leader of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Nearly 4,000 young men and women enthusiastically participated in the conference.
Addressing the youth, Bajrang Dal Central Co-Coordinator Vivek Kulkarni explained the concept of ‘Dharma Sansthapanaarthaya’ mentioned in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. Referring to the work of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, he underlined the importance of Hindu Dharma and Hindu culture.
Through the three-fold vision of ‘Yuva Shakti – Hindu Culture – Nation Building’, Kulkarni called upon the youth to come forward to establish cultural values, social responsibility and a spirit of nationalism in society.
RSS Sah Sarkaryawah Arun Kumar shared his experiences and memories of his association with late Ashok ji Singhal. He said that Ashok Ji built his life amid extremely challenging circumstances.
He said Ashok Ji worked for wider social awakening by bringing together not only the deprived and neglected sections of society, but also people belonging to different castes, communities and sects, along with saints and seers. He also highlighted Ashok Singhal’s efforts to reach all sections of society through various service initiatives.
In his blessings, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Pranavanand Saraswati Ji called upon the younger generation to embrace the self-realisation of ‘Soham’ and become protectors and carriers of Indian culture.
The yuva sammelan was attended by prominent entrepreneurs, eminent personalities from various fields and a large number of young men and women. Through the conference, the participating youth expressed their resolve to work for nation-building, the preservation and promotion of Hindu culture, and the welfare of society.
