
ISRO Recruitment 2026 offers 93 Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts for eligible engineering graduates with valid GATE 2025 or 2026 scores
New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has invited online applications from eligible engineering graduates for 93 Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ vacancies across multiple disciplines, including Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Civil, Electrical, Architecture and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. The purpose of the recruitment is to strengthen ISRO’s scientific workforce for India’s space programmes and research initiatives. Candidates with a valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 score can fill the ISRO application form 2026 online until August 17, 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be selected through a GATE score-based shortlisting process followed by an interview for appointment to Level 10 Group ‘A’ posts. As per the advertisement issues, a total of 93 vacancies have been announced which are as follows –
Candidates who wish to apply must possess:
● B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering discipline
● A valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 Score in the corresponding subject

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official ISRO website from July 28, 2026, to August 17, 2026. Applications will be accepted only in online mode, and candidates registered on the National Career Services (NCS) portal who meet the eligibility criteria can also apply. After successful registration, applicants will receive a unique registration number, which should be kept safely for future reference. While filling out the ISRO application form 2026, candidates must provide a valid email ID. The last date to submit the online application for ISRO Recruitment 2026 is August 17, 2026.
The maximum age limit for ISRO Recruitment 2026 is 28 years as on August 17, 2026. However, age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and government employees will be provided as per Government of India rules.
The application fee for ISRO Recruitment 2026 is Rs 250. Note that Women, SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying the application fee. They can submit their applications without any fee.
In addition to the basic salary of Rs 56,100 per month, they will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, medical facilities for self and dependents, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Group Insurance, and other benefits applicable to Central Government employees.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview on the basis of their valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 Score. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s GATE score and interview performance. While ISRO has stated that some Scientist/Engineer vacancies may be filled through a written test in future recruitment drives, the 93 vacancies announced this time are being filled through the GATE-based recruitment process, and no separate written examination has been prescribed for these posts.
