Munger: The Karyakarta Vikas Varg–Pratham of the Uttar-Purva Kshetra, which had been underway since May 23 at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Puraniganj, Munger, concluded successfully on June 12. A total of 126 shiksharthis from Bihar and Jharkhand participated in the 20-day Varg. In addition, 229 shiksharthis took part in the Sangh Shiksha Varg and Ghosh Varg of RSS Dakshin Bihar.

Addressing the samapan samaroh, RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Alok Kumar said that the Varg is not merely a training programme but a medium to instil a sense of discipline, dedication, responsibility and duty towards the nation, society and the organisation. He said that even in ancient times, the Devas worked collectively to confront the Rakshasas, a concept mentioned in the Vedas. The foundation of individual and social development built through such training must now be carried to every section of society so that Bharat Mata is honoured across the world. He added that Bharat will move forward powerfully on the global stage while remaining rooted in its cultural heritage, knowledge traditions and human values.

He said that Hindutva’s worldview alone can become the basis of peace in the world. Today, the world is troubled by capitalism, terrorism and conflicts arising from the pursuit of dominance among nations, resulting in widespread bloodshed. For the protection of humanity as a whole, Bharat must play a leading role.

Alok Kumar Ji further stated that the Sangh’s work is to bring transformation in society through individual development and re-establish Bharat as a capable and strong nation in the world. He observed that the acceptance of Bharatiya thought and traditions has grown across the globe. He noted that the central theme of the RSS centenary year, Panch Parivartan, comprising social harmony, environmental protection, Kutumb Prabodhan, awakening of selfhood (Swabodh), and civic duties is now being discussed widely. He called upon swayamsevaks to work continuously and effectively in society, stating that meaningful systemic transformation can be achieved only through Panch Parivartan.

The chief guest, renowned paediatrician Dr Ajay Kumar of Munger, said that the Sangh organises karyakarta training camps every year. He described the organisation of the Varg on the historic soil of Munger as a matter of pride and joy for all. He said that swayamsevaks engaged in national service help nurture and enrich society. The Varg, he added, was organised with the objective of fostering harmony and unity between society and the Sangh.
