Panch Parivartan is the key to build a strong and self-reliant society: RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Alok Kumar

India’s diversity is its strength when guided by unity and mutual respect. Every individual must be valued based on human qualities rather than identity, said Sah Sarkaryavah Alok Kumar

Patna: RSS swayamsevaks have serve the society selflessly even in adverse times, said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sah Sarkaryavah Alok Kumar while addressing a Pramukh Jan-Goshti organised at Vijay Niketan.

Alok Kumar stated that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has outlined the programme of Panch Parivartan during its centenary year to strengthen society and the nation.

He explained that the five dimensions of transformation include self-awareness and Swa, family awakening, social harmony, environmental protection, and civic duty. These, he said, form the foundation for building an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Highlighting environmental concerns, he noted that development is possible only in harmony with nature, which holds a revered place in Indian culture. “Environmental protection is not solely the responsibility of the government, but of every citizen,” he said, emphasising the call to plant trees, conserve water, and eliminate plastic.

On family values, he described the family as the first school of samskaar, stressing that a strong family leads to a strong society. He expressed concern over rising nuclear families, generational gaps, and moral decline, noting that in Indian tradition, the family is a laboratory of values.

Emphasising social harmony, he said India’s diversity is its strength when guided by unity and mutual respect. Every individual must be valued based on human qualities rather than identity.

On swa, he highlighted the importance of understanding one’s role and responsibilities, along with promoting Swadeshi practices to ensure economic and cultural self-reliance.

He further stressed civic responsibility, stating that every individual is a servant of the nation. RSS volunteers, he noted, exemplify this spirit by serving selflessly in times of disasters and crises, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, without seeking recognition.

The programme was attended by Rajkumar Sinha, Prant Sanghchalak of South Bihar, and Bharat Purve, Sah Sanghchalak of Badrinath Upabhag, among other dignitaries.
