Dharamshala: Sangh Swayamsevaks, dedicated to character building, social transformation, and taking the nation to its highest glory, said RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale while addressing a ‘Yuva Ekatrikaran’ on March 29, 2026, at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.

He stated that preserving Bharat’s civilisational identity is paramount, ensuring that the land of Bharat remains with its people. Bharat’s identity, he noted, is rooted not merely in legal documents but in its thousand-year-old culture, and civilisational continuity reflected in texts like the Vishnu Purana and examples such as Ayodhya.

Highlighting Bharat’s long history, he said that despite invasions, traditions have remained intact, with gotra traditions reinforcing unity. Remembering the sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Veer Savarkar, and Madan Lal Dhingra, he noted that today’s freedom is built upon their sacrifices, and society remains indebted to them.

Calling youth, the backbone of the nation, he said that all major challenges in the world are addressed by young people. Citing examples like Dr Jagadish Chandra Bose’s scientific integrity and Dr Vijay Bhatkar’s leadership in developing the PARAM supercomputer with a team of young scientists, he underlined the power of dedication and teamwork. Referring to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s Ignited Minds, he stressed the importance of collective effort.

He urged youth to adopt modernity rooted in cultural values, avoid negative influences such as drugs, and use technology responsibly. he noted that divisive activities harming national unity must be resisted.
Concluding, he emphasised that every individual can contribute to nation-building with sincerity and long-term commitment, without expecting personal gain, and that even while performing daily duties, one must carry the spirit of serving the nation.
