Karamana Jayan is the city district president of the BJP. He is one of the most senior party workers in the district. He started his social activities as a Sangh swayamsevak.

All other candidates are very familiar in their places, thanks to their long innings of political and social activities in their respective areas.

Since all other constituents of the NDA have already released their candidate lists, the NDA’s list for all 140 seats is now complete. NDA seat-sharing has been smooth compared to the serious disputes prevailing in the seat-sharing of both the CPM-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF). Both fronts still struggle to put their divided houses in order.
