Indian Embassies across West Asia issue safety advisories to nationals amid prevailing regional situation

Indian Embassies across Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Palestine and Jordan have issued advisories urging Indian nationals to remain vigilant and strictly follow safety instructions amid the prevailing regional security situation

Indian diplomatic missions across the West Asia have issued coordinated advisories on February 28, urging Indian nationals to remain cautious and adhere to local safety instructions in view of the evolving regional security situation.

In Israel, the Embassy advised: “In view of the prevailing security situation in the region, all Indian nationals in Israel are advised to exercise utmost caution and remain vigilant at all times.”

Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, Indian nationals were urged to: “Remain vigilant, strictly adhere to the safety guidelines prevalent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and follow advisories issued by the local authorities and the Embassy.”

Qatar

In Qatar, the Embassy stated: “In view of the current regional situation, all Indian nationals in Qatar are advised to take due care, follow news and advisories as and when issued by the Embassy and local authorities.”

UAE 

In the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Palestine, Indian missions have similarly advised citizens to remain cautious, monitor developments and comply with safety directions issued by local authorities.

Jordan

An urgent advisory was issued by the Embassy of India in Jordan:

“URGENT- In view of the prevailing regional situation, all Indian nationals and tourists in Jordan are advised to exercise utmost caution, stay safe and follow advisories issued by local authorities diligently.”

“All Indian tourists in Jordan are further advised to leave the country immediately before operations of commercial flights gets disrupted.” Emergency contact: 00962-770 422 276
