BJP national president Nitin Nabin stated that Telangana politics has reached the peak of appeasement politics. According to him, the state’s political discourse has taken a very serious turn, with the present Congress government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, having completely reached the extreme end of appeasement politics.
By continuously insulting the culture and traditions of the Telugu people, attacking Sanatana Dharma, and raising dangerous slogans such as “Congress means Muslims, Muslims mean Congress”, the Congress party is exposing its true political character and attempting only to satisfy one section through degenerate politics, he alleged.
He further pointed out that the Congress government in the state is attempting to further strengthen the Waqf Boards. The move to create what he termed the richest Waqf Board in the country is being pursued purely for vote-bank politics, he alleged, while simultaneously imposing huge cuts on funds meant for SC and ST welfare schemes.
Telangana Chief Minister is busy doing appeasement politics. He has disrespected the Telugu people and their culture. He even went on to say, "Congress is Muslim and Muslim is Congress”.

According to Nabin, the time has now come for the people of Telangana to give a fitting reply to this injustice.
Expressing anguish, he said that despite open attacks on Hindu temples at several places, the state government has remained silent. Temple lands are being encroached upon, he alleged, hurting Hindu sentiments, and asserted that attacks on Sanatana Dharma in the state would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Warning that BJP workers would not remain silent if attacks are carried out on Sanatana Bharatiya tradition, he said party workers were prepared for any sacrifice for the protection of Sanatana Dharma.
He called upon the people to reflect during the municipal elections and extend strong support to the Bharatiya Janata Party for the future of Telangana, for the protection of culture and traditions, and for justice and equality.
Referring to vandalism incidents, he said acts such as the one that occurred at the Mutyalamma temple in Changicherla should not be allowed to recur.
Alleging failures on multiple fronts, he said the state government is failing to prevent attacks on Hindu temples, allowing encroachments on temple lands, and imposing restrictions on festivals.
Stating that Sanatana Dharma is the soul of India, he warned that if anyone attacks the soul of the nation, BJP workers would give a proper response.
On women’s welfare, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several programmes are being implemented across the country, while alleging that the Congress government in Telangana is doing injustice to women.
Before the elections, the Congress party promised ₹2,500 monthly financial assistance to women, one tola of gold and ₹1 lakh under the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme, he alleged, but failed to implement these assurances. BJP workers, he said, should go to every house, remind women of these injustices, and campaign to ensure a fitting response to the Congress government in the elections.
He further stated that although the Congress government promised ₹15,000 per acre to farmers and ₹12,000 to farm labourers under Rythu Bharosa, it has not implemented the scheme so far. SC, ST, OBC and Adivasi communities have been cheated, he alleged, adding that this deception must be answered.
Justice to the people of Telangana, he asserted, is possible only through the BJP, and party workers were asked to take this message to the people and ensure that voters take the right decision in the municipal elections.
He alleged that during the previous BRS government and under the present Congress government, commission-based rule and land mafia have continued, with people burdened by taxes at every level.
In the name of commissions, “RR tax” is being collected in the state, he alleged, adding that even small contractors are being forced to pay RR tax for development works and bill clearances. Calling for uprooting what he described as a corrupt, commission-driven government, he said the Bharatiya Janata Party must be brought to power to ensure justice for all sections.
Highlighting development initiatives, he said the Narendra Modi government is undertaking the construction of high-speed rail corridors such as Hyderabad–Pune, Hyderabad–Bengaluru and Hyderabad–Chennai, while accelerating Telangana’s development through pharma, industrial sectors, and mega textile and industrial corridors. These initiatives, he said, would directly contribute to the welfare and development of the people of Telangana.
He noted that in the previous Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured more than 35 per cent vote share and called upon party workers to strive for a target of 50 per cent votes at every booth this time.
After the Lok Sabha elections, he said, people across the country are expressing greater confidence in the governance of Narendra Modi, citing BJP victories in states and regions such as Maharashtra, Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Bihar as evidence.
BJP workers in Telangana were urged to go among the people and further strengthen public confidence in Narendra Modi’s leadership. Party workers were also called upon to go to every household during local body and municipal elections, mobilise support to ensure the BJP’s victory, and encourage young leaders.
Stating that protecting Telangana and resolving public issues is the responsibility of every BJP worker, he said efforts must be made from local body elections to parliamentary elections to ensure the party’s victory, describing this as the resolve for BJP’s success in Telangana.
Earlier in his address, Nabin described it as a privilege to visit Telangana and expressed gratitude for the warm reception extended by party workers, particularly members of tribal communities who welcomed him with traditional dances. Upon arriving in the state, he said he paid obeisance to Jogulamba Amma, Mysigandi Maisamma Amma, and the deities of the Uma Maheshwara temple.
He also paid tributes to the martyrs of the Telangana liberation struggle who laid down their lives fighting Nizam rule and recalled the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the liberation of Hyderabad, stating that Telangana was freed from Nizam rule under Patel’s leadership.
Describing the visit as significant as it was his first to Telangana during municipal elections, he thanked the people of Mahabubnagar and Adivasi communities for their welcome and acknowledged Telangana personalities who received Padma awards, while also thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for recognising the state’s talent through national honours.
