The following section presents the Yearly Report 2025, comprising 100 documented incidents involving the targeted killing of Hindus by Islamist radicals.
Case You Must Know: Hargobind Das and his son Chandan Das were brutally lynched inside their home in Jafarabad village under Samserganj police station limits in Murshidabad on April 12, 2025, during a phase of intense violence that gripped the district. The killings took place amid large-scale unrest and violent protests, when mobs targeted properties and individuals in several parts of Murshidabad. The father–son duo was attacked by a group of assailants at their residence, making the incident one of the most gruesome and shocking episodes of violence reported during that period, drawing statewide outrage and condemnation.
The case was investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) with assistance from local police, leading to the arrest of 13 accused, all of whom were identified as local residents. Investigators relied on advanced forensic methods, including DNA analysis and gait examination, to establish the involvement of the accused. The trial concluded within 253 days, an unusually swift timeline for a mob lynching case in West Bengal. The prosecution argued that the attack was targeted and stemmed from local enmity, including a property-related dispute, and successfully proved the charges against all the accused.
A fast-track court in Murshidabad, presided over by Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ-I) Amitabh Mukherjee at Jangipur, sentenced all 13 convicts to life imprisonment. 1. West Medinipur: Civic Volunteer Dies After Being Beaten by Group of Youths
On 28 December 2025, a 32-year-old civic volunteer, Tulsi Rao, also known as Uday, died on 28 December 2025 in a hospital in Cuttack, 12 days after sustaining injuries from a brutal attack near Khardahpur Railway Station in West Medinipur, West Bengal.
According to police reports, Rao was sitting with two friends near the station, having tea, when a dispute began after he was allegedly pushed by an individual. The situation escalated, and approximately 15 youths reportedly surrounded him near the bus stand, assaulting him with sharp weapons and heavy stones.
West Medinipur police took swift action, arresting two suspects, including the main accused, Sheikh Sharifuddin, while searching for the other individuals involved.
2. Delhi: Friend Stabbed to Death Over Mobile Phone Dispute
On 25 December 2025, a 25 December 2025 night-time dispute over a mobile phone ended in the stabbing death of a Hindu youth, Suraj, near Kabutar Chowk in the Welcome police station area, Delhi.
According to police, the altercation began when Suraj took a mobile phone from Shadab, a Muslim acquaintance. The argument escalated, and Shadab allegedly drew a knife and stabbed Suraj multiple times before fleeing the scene. Suraj was declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
The Welcome police, led by SHO Rupesh Khatri, identified Shadab through CCTV footage and arrested him on 26 December 2025 from the Welcome area.
3. Urai, UP: Dispute During Alcohol Party Leads to Murder of Hindu Youth
A 35-year-old Hindu man, Mahendra Kumar Jatav, was killed on the night of 16 December 2025 during a dispute at an alcohol party on Churkhi Bypass in Urai, Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh.
Police reports indicate that the altercation involved Mahendra and his friends Altaf, Raja, and Jeeshan. It is alleged that Jeeshan and Altaf restrained Mahendra while Raja struck him on the head with a brick, resulting in his death.
The Urai police have registered a murder case and arrested Jeeshan and Raja in connection with the incident.
4. Hardoi, UP: Hindu Woman Murdered After Attempted Sexual Assault Under Pretext of Job Offer
In Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, a Hindu woman was killed on 15 December 2025 after an attempted sexual assault by a man who had promised her a job. The accused, Furqan, was arrested by police on 16 December 2025 following a confrontation.
According to police, Furqan was previously known to the victim and her family. On 15 December, he lured the woman to Sandila Industrial Area under the pretext of providing employment. On the return journey, in a deserted area outside the village, he allegedly attempted to assault her. When the victim resisted, Furqan strangled her with her dupatta, causing her death, and left her body near a garbage disposal site before fleeing.
Authorities recovered a .315 bore pistol, ammunition, and the victim’s mobile phone from the accused.
5. Baran, Rajasthan: Elderly Man Dies After Assault Over Complaint About Wheat Grinding
In Baran district, Rajasthan, 70-year-old Chauthmal Bagdi Mogiya of Kunda village died on 14 December 2025 following an assault over a complaint regarding wheat grinding.
Police reported that on 9 December 2025, the elderly man visited the local grinder operated by Salman Khan, also known as Tipu, to have his wheat ground. After complaining that the wheat had not been ground properly, Salman Khan allegedly attacked Chauthmal. Due to pre-existing health issues, Chauthmal succumbed to his injuries during treatment on 14 December.
Baran police took prompt action and arrested Salman Khan in connection with the death.
6. Rape Attempt on Child Girl Leads to Her Murder in Ujjain
In Khachrod tehsil of Ujjain district, a 9-year-old innocent Hindu girl was brutally murdered during an attempt to rape her. On December 14, 2025, the girl had come to her grandmother’s house. Riyaz Khan, residing in a nearby house, first attempted to rape her.
The girl was admitted in a serious condition to a hospital in Ratlam, where she died during treatment on December 15, 2025.
7. Gazipur, Delhi: 45-Year-Old Man Beaten to Death Over Monetary Dispute
In Gazipur, East Delhi, a 45-year-old man named Dalip was allegedly beaten to death with stones by a coworker on 8 December 2025 over a financial dispute.
The victim’s body, showing severe injuries to the face, was found near a garbage dumping area adjacent to the Paper Market. Delhi Police initiated an investigation and arrested the accused, 32-year-old Kaleem, on 9 December 2025. Authorities are continuing the investigation.
8. Sagar, MP: Two Children Die After House Set on Fire Over Daughter’s Harassment
In Chanda Mau village, under Naryawali police station in Sagar district, a fire claimed the lives of two minor boys on the night of 5 December 2025.
The incident occurred when Faheem Khan allegedly attempted to befriend a Dalit Hindu girl, and her family opposed his advances. In retaliation, the accused reportedly locked the family’s mud house from outside and set it on fire.
The two boys were severely injured in the blaze and later succumbed to their injuries while receiving medical treatment.
9. Bareilly, UP: Hindu Youth Mukesh Maurya Strangled to Death
In the Chauhdhary locality of Senthal, Bareilly district, vegetable vendor Mukesh Maurya was found dead in a field outside the village on 6 December 2025, a day after he went missing.
Police investigation revealed that Mukesh was allegedly killed by his Muslim girlfriend, Nagma, in collusion with her husband, Mohammad Shanu. During interrogation, both accused admitted to the murder, stating it was carried out due to Mukesh’s relationship with Nagma.
Authorities further reported that Nagma had a history of blackmailing other youths by fabricating false cases. In this instance, she allegedly demanded one lakh rupees from Mukesh’s family. Both Nagma and Shanu have been taken into police custody.
10. Araria, Bihar: Teacher Shivani Verma Shot Dead, Three Arrested
In Narpatganj block of Araria district, Hindu teacher Shivani Kumari Verma was shot dead on the morning of 3 December 2025. Police arrested the main conspirator, Husn Ara, along with two hired killers, Mohammad Maruf and Mohammad Sohel, within 48 hours on 5 December 2025.
Investigation revealed that Husn Ara suspected her husband, Mohammad Sabir, of having an illicit relationship and had allegedly paid three lakh rupees to have another female teacher killed. On the day of the incident, the intended target teacher was on leave. However, the perpetrators mistakenly identified Shivani Verma as the target due to overlapping travel routes and shot her.
Police recovered a country-made pistol, the motorcycle used in the crime, and clothing worn during the attack from the accused.
11. Delhi: Cab Driver Kuldeep Killed, Accused Imran Arrested
In Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi, cab driver Kuldeep, a resident of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, was killed on the morning of 3 December 2025. Police arrested the main accused, 19-year-old Imran alias Panwadi, shortly after the incident.
Investigation revealed that Imran, along with three minor accomplices, had been celebrating a birthday and were under the influence of alcohol when a dispute arose with Kuldeep over public urination. The argument escalated, leading the group to assault Kuldeep. Imran then allegedly produced a knife and stabbed him. The accused also allegedly seized Kuldeep’s car and fled the scene. Police recovered the knife used in the attack, the stolen car, and blood-stained clothing from the crime.
12. Navi Mumbai: Ratanesh Kumar Jaiswal Beaten to Death, Two Arrested
In Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai, 37-year-old Ratanesh Kumar Rajkumar Jaiswal was beaten to death with wooden sticks and fists in the early hours of 1 December 2025 at around 1:45 a.m.
Kalamboli police identified the accused as 25-year-old Mohammad Chand Shabbir Sheikh and 25-year-old Juef Jamil Elias Sheikh, both residents of Kalamboli and originally from Bihar. The attack reportedly stemmed from a longstanding dispute. The altercation began when Jaiswal and his friends attempted to intervene in a conflict between the accused and a group of transgender individuals.
Crime Branch Unit 3 traced the incident using CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts, leading to the arrest of both accused on 2 December 2025. During interrogation, both admitted to committing the crime.
13. Bulandshahr: Hindu Youth Kshama Sharma Kidnapped and Murdered, Accused Arrested in Encounter
In Bulandshahr district, police arrested Salim, accused of kidnapping and murdering 17-year-old Hindu girl Kshama Sharma, during an encounter on 4 December 2025.
According to authorities, Salim allegedly abducted Kshama Sharma on 27 November 2025 and murdered her. Her body was recovered from Valipura Canal on 28 November 2025.
During a search operation to recover weapons based on the suspect’s directions, Salim opened fire at police personnel. In the ensuing exchange of fire, Salim sustained injuries, and one constable was also injured.
Bulandshahr police have registered a case against the accused in connection with the murder and related offenses.
14. Thane: Hindu Man Tipanna Murdered on Nasik–Mumbai Highway, Three Arrested
In Thane district, Shahpur police recovered the partially burnt and decomposed body of Hindu man Tipanna along the Nasik–Mumbai Highway on 27 November 2025.
Following investigations, three Muslim suspects, Faiyaz Zakir Hussain Sheikh, Sikandar Badshah Mujawar, and Gulam Akbar Iftikhar, were arrested in connection with the murder.
Police reported that the killing stemmed from a dispute over a “wrong relationship.” The accused allegedly murdered Tipanna after conflicts arising from a personal affair.
Shahpur police have registered a case and are continuing the investigation.
15. Amravati: Railway Vendor Rushi Raju Kapekar Stabbed to Death in Badnera; Four Arrested
In Badnera town of Amravati district, 27-year-old railway vendor Rushi Raju Kapekar was stabbed to death late on the night of 25 November 2025.
Police stated that the attack was carried out by a group of four suspects, with Sheikh Tawfeeq Sheikh identified as the main accused.
Authorities have taken all four suspects into custody and registered a murder case. The investigation is ongoing.
16. Delhi: Pan Vendor Rajendra Kumar Stabbed to Death Over Cigarette Dispute; Main Accused Arrested
In Delhi’s Patel Nagar area, pan vendor Rajendra Kumar was fatally stabbed on 24 November 2025 following a dispute over giving cigarettes for free.
Police stated that the main accused, Mohammad Mehtab, was taken into custody on 25 November 2025 during an encounter.
According to investigators, Rajendra Kumar was sitting in his shop when a group of inebriated men asked for cigarettes without paying. When he requested payment, the men attacked him with a knife, inflicting fatal injuries.
17. Delhi: 65-Year-Old Woman Murdered in Mahendra Park; Main Accused Arrested
A 65-year-old woman was brutally murdered on the night of 15 November 2025 near Mahendra Park. The victim, who worked as a laborer in Azadpur Mandi, was returning home near Adarsh Nagar Railway Station when she was followed by the accused, Salman, who was reportedly intoxicated.
When the woman resisted, Salman attacked her with a cutting tool, dragged her into nearby bushes, and committed the crime. The body was discovered the next morning.
Police identified the accused through CCTV footage and investigation. It was revealed that Salman had previously appeared in court for a case involving the abduction and sexual assault of a minor. He was apprehended from Gujarat and confessed to the crime during interrogation.
18. Raipur: 2-Year-Old Boy Murdered; Stepfather Arrested
In Kabir Nagar, Raipur, police arrested 24-year-old stepfather Aqib Khan and the child’s mother, Reshmi Tamrakar (24), in connection with the murder of 2-year-7-month-old Prashant Sen on 18 November 2025.
Investigation revealed that Aqib Khan had been physically abusing the child for the past 15 days. On the day of the incident, he inflicted internal injuries to Prashant’s nose, chest, and abdomen, which led to the child’s death. Reshmi Tamrakar was also found to have attempted to conceal the crime.
19. Hyderabad: Minor Dispute Leads to Fatal Stabbing
In Nacharam, Hyderabad, three men, Mohammad Junaid, Sheikh Saifuddin, and another were arrested for the murder of Hindu youth Murali Krishna on 3 November 2025.
Murali Krishna had asked for a lift and was offered a ride by the three men. While stopping at a tiffin center, some sauce accidentally spilled from Murali Krishna’s plate onto one of the men’s clothes. Following this, the men reportedly kept him in the car for two hours, during which they beat him, burned him with a cigarette, and repeatedly questioned him about the incident. The attack culminated in Murali Krishna being stabbed multiple times inside the car, resulting in his death.
20. Bikaner: Soldier Stabbed to Death After Train Dispute
Near Bikaner Station, Rajasthan, on 2 November 2025, soldier Jignyash Chaudhary was fatally stabbed by coach attendant Zuber Memon following a dispute over a bedsheet on a moving train.
According to police, Jignyash Chaudhary was traveling home on the Sabarmati Express when an argument broke out between him and the coach attendant. The disagreement escalated, and the attendant attacked Chaudhary with a knife, resulting in his death.
Zuber Memon was subsequently taken into police custody, and a murder case was registered against him.
21. Kanpur: Woman Killed by Live-In Partner, Case Uncovered by Neighbors
In Kanpur, on 1 November 2025, a 35-year-old woman, Bharti Gautam, was found dead in her residence. Police investigations revealed that her live-in partner, Wahid, had strangled her to death. After the murder, Wahid locked the house and fled.
Neighbors, noticing a foul odor, alerted the police, who discovered the body. Post-mortem confirmed that Bharti Gautam had been strangled. Wahid was arrested by Kanpur police on 2 November 2025.
22. Delhi: Laborer Killed Over Outstanding Wages, Two Arrested
In Uttam Nagar, Delhi, Suraj Verma, a resident of Ranipurwa village in Barabanki, was employed at a juice shop owned by Nazim Ali. On 31 October 2025, Suraj was killed by Nazim Ali and his brother after he requested his pending wages of one year in order to travel home for Diwali.
Delhi Police registered a case and arrested both accused.
23. Gujarat: Woman Killed Over Money Dispute, Confession Reveals Earlier Murder
Near National Highway 48 in Navsari, 28 October 2025, Faizal Pathan killed his girlfriend, Riya, over a money-related dispute. Her body was found at an abandoned rice mill, reportedly stripped and covered in blood.
During police questioning, Faizal revealed that three months earlier he had also killed his wife, Suhana, and concealed her body at the same location. Based on CCTV footage and investigation, Faizal was arrested.
24. Uttar Pradesh: Married Woman Reena Killed, Suspect Arrested
Amroha police arrested a man named Salim on 28 October 2025 for the murder of married Hindu woman Reena, also known as Sangeeta (35). The victim’s son worked at Salim’s clothing store. Over time, Salim allegedly lured Reena into his control.
On 26 October 2025, Salim reportedly accused her of financial wrongdoing and took her on a motorcycle to a forested area near Hathiyakheda village, where he killed her by slitting her throat.
25. Shahjahanpur Man Killed in Revenge Attack Over Past Incident
In Shahjahanpur’s Kant police station area, residents of Saftayara village reported that 30-year-old Omkar, a local farmer, was beaten to death with sticks on 21 October 2025.
According to police, the attack was carried out by a group of individuals seeking revenge for an incident in 2020, when Omkar had taken a young Muslim woman from the community. At that time, the woman was located and returned safely to her family, and Omkar was sent to jail. He had been released on bail prior to the fatal attack.
Authorities confirmed that the assault involved multiple assailants and resulted in Omkar’s immediate death. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
26. Mumbai Worker Beaten to Death by Co-Workers on Theft Suspicion
In Mumbai’s Subhash Nagar area of Goregaon, 26-year-old construction worker Harshal Parma was allegedly beaten to death by four co-workers on 19 October 2025. The accused, identified as Salman Khan, Ismulla Khan, and two others, reportedly suspected Harshal of theft.
According to local reports, the assailants tied Harshal with rope and struck him with bamboo sticks, in addition to kicking and punching him. Security guard Pappu Yadav stated that when he tried to intervene, the attackers threatened him and forced him to leave the site. Harshal was found unconscious and died before reaching the hospital.
Following a complaint by Harshal’s mother, Suvarna Parma, the police registered a case of murder against the four accused and took them into custody.
27. Kolkata Youth Dies After Assault by Employer’s Drivers
In Kolkata’s Salt Lake area, 1 October 2025, 28-year-old Gautam Pramanik was brutally attacked by his employer’s drivers, Shah Abdul Kabir and Sikandar, after he refused to purchase alcohol. The assault caused severe injuries, and Gautam was admitted to SSKM Hospital in critical condition.
Gautam remained unconscious at the hospital and succumbed to his injuries on the night of 18 October 2025. Police reported that the driver Shah Abdul Kabir, along with Sikandar, attacked Gautam after he resisted being forced to buy alcohol.
Salt Lake police have arrested both Shah Abdul Kabir and Sikandar on charges of murder.
28. 12-Year-Old Boy Abducted and Murdered in Madhubani, Three Arrested
In Madhubani’s Jhanjharpur area under Adariya Sangram police jurisdiction, 12-year-old Aditya Kumar was abducted and killed on 13 October 2025 by three members of the same family identified as Mohammad Fayaz, Mohammad Jilani, and Mohammad Gulnavaz.
The accused reportedly demanded a ransom of Rs 25 lakh from the boy’s family. Aditya’s body was later discovered on 19 October 2025 in a paddy field just 500 meters from the family home and National Highway 27.
The Madhubani police arrested the three accused based on the complaint filed by the victim’s family.
29. Roadways Bus Driver Ravindra Killed in Brutal Stone Beating in Prayagraj
In the Dhoomanganj police area near Mundera Chungi petrol pump, Roadways bus driver Ravindra, also known as Munnu, was beaten to death with bricks and stones on 9 October 2025 following a minor dispute.
Ravindra had gone to Mundera Chungi for personal work when a group of young men attacked him in anger. He sustained severe head injuries and collapsed on the road. Local residents rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
30. Hindu Youth Monu Beaten to Death in Muzaffarnagar
On the morning of 19 October 2025, a Hindu youth named Monu was beaten to death on Karbala Road in Budhana town after being mistaken for a thief in a local Muslim settlement. The incident was recorded on video, which later went viral on social media.
Muzaffarnagar police have taken several Muslim youths into custody for questioning in connection with the attack. Local resident Swami Yashveer described the killing as targeted and demanded strict action against the perpetrators. He warned that if stringent measures were not taken, the Hindu community would organize large-scale protests and convene a Hindu Mahapanchayat outside the state assembly.
31. Hindu E-Rickshaw Driver Rajendra Killed in Sonipat Attack
In Devdu village, Hindu e-rickshaw driver Rajendra was brutally killed by four alleged Muslim extremists on 15 October 2025. The attack occurred while Rajendra was transporting passengers near a liquor shop.
The assailants surrounded him and struck him multiple times on the abdomen and back with sharp weapons. The passengers managed to escape unharmed. Sonipat police have registered a murder case and taken the main accused, Gulshad Sada, along with a minor, into custody.
32. Hindu Man Vinod Kishan Bhagat Murdered by Wife and Her Muslim Lover in Nanded
Nanded police arrested Priyanka and her Muslim lover, Sheikh Rafiq, on 17 October 2025 in connection with the murder of 51-year-old Hindu man Vinod Kishan Bhagat. Vinod, a resident of Sindgi village, lived with his wife Priyanka in Gokunda, Kinwat.
According to police, Priyanka developed an illicit relationship with Sheikh Rafiq, and Vinod was perceived as an obstacle in this relationship. The couple allegedly conspired to eliminate him. On the night of 29 August 2025, while reportedly intoxicated, Vinod was thrown alive from the Kharbi bridge over the Penganga River.
Following the incident, Priyanka filed a missing person report on 3 September 2025. Vinod’s sisters, however, suspected Priyanka and Rafiq’s involvement in the murder.
33. Hindu Youth Karan Murdered in Aligarh Over Instagram Post
In Aligarh’s Jawan block, 19-year-old Hindu youth Karan was killed after posting a photograph of a Muslim girl on Instagram. The girl’s family reportedly objected to the post.
According to reports, when a nearby Muslim woman, Amina, fell ill, Karan took her to a private hospital in a rented van. On his return, Amina’s brother Asad and his associates intercepted Karan on the road. The accused dragged him to an abandoned house, where they repeatedly stabbed him with knives and slit his throat, resulting in his death.
34. Hindu Youth Karan Malhotra Killed in Alwar Attack; Brother Injured
In Alwar, 10 to 15 Muslim assailants attacked two Hindu brothers, killing one and injuring the other by breaking his hand. The attackers reportedly shouted slogans of “Sar Tan Se Juda” during the assault.
According to police officials, on the night of 9 October 2025, Chintu was returning home in a Scorpio with his wife and children when the group, led by Munfed Khan and including Dinu, Sahil alias Sanda, Agru, Irfan, Ashu, Yusuf, Sahil, and Hakim, ambushed them near a roadside dhaba close to a bank. The assailants used sticks and rods to damage the vehicle and launch the attack.
Police have registered a murder case against 13 individuals in connection with the incident.
35. Five Arrested for Alleged Murders of Hindu Religious Leaders in UP
The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested five individuals from Kerala and other states for their alleged involvement in the murders of Hindu religious leaders. The arrested suspects are identified as Mohammad Raza, Safeel Salmani, Maulana Akmal, Tausif, and Qasim.
According to ATS officials, Raza and his associates had formed a group called the “Mujahid Army” and conspired to carry out killings of Hindu religious leaders. They also reportedly attempted to involve youths and women in extremist activities. The group had prepared a book titled “Islam Ki Mujahid Betiyan”, which they planned to circulate on social media.
36. Hindu Woman Sonam’s Murder Case Reveals Arrests of Father and Son
Police in the Sandila Kotwali area have arrested two individuals, Ayub and his son Sameedul, in connection with the abduction and murder of 30-year-old Hindu woman Sonam, which occurred in August 2023. The main accused, Maseedul, remains at large.
The case came to light when Gangaram, Sonam’s father-in-law, had filed a missing person report at Sandila Kotwali on 6 August 2023 after Sonam failed to return home from the market. The investigation has since led to the arrests of the father and son.
37. Hindu Woman Selu Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances, Family Alleges Murder
In Badnagar, a divorced Hindu woman named Selu died under suspicious circumstances on 29 September 2025. Her family has accused a Muslim youth of murder and filed a formal complaint against him.
According to the victim’s relatives, since 2023, the accused had maintained a brother-sister relationship with Selu but had been visiting her home regularly. They allege that he pressured her to marry him and to convert to Islam. The family also claimed that the accused, identified as Golu, had forced Selu to wear a burqa, perform prayers, and threatened her life. They stated that this continuous harassment ultimately led to her death.

Gaya, Rajasthan, 18 May 2025: In Kota district’s Kanwas town, Sandeep Sharma, a computer mechanic, was brutally stabbed to death by Ateeq Ahmad over a minor dispute outside a showroom.
Reports state that around 2 PM, Sandeep was sitting on a chair outside the showroom when Ateeq asked him to vacate it. Sandeep refused, leading to an argument. Ateeq left, only to return 10 minutes later with a knife and attacked Sandeep repeatedly.
Following the incident, local authorities demolished Ateeq’s illegal house due to ensuing protests and unrest. Kota police later apprehended the main accused, Ateeq Ahmad, from Tonk district.
73. Death of Differently-Abled Passenger Hitesh Mistry on Okha-Ernakulam Express
Jamnagar, Gujarat, 13 May 2025: A tragic incident occurred on the Okha-Ernakulam Express near Hapa railway station, where 35-year-old Hitesh Mistry, a differently-abled passenger, was pushed off a moving train by two passengers, Haji Ayub and Saddam, resulting in his death.

During questioning, Abdul Samad stated that he had met Lakshmi in January 2025 while working in Nagpur. The two reportedly became friends and maintained communication over the phone. A few months later, Lakshmi decided to end the relationship due to religious differences. Abdul Samad allegedly could not accept this decision and carried out the attack.
Jabalpur police used surveillance systems to apprehend the accused, who was reportedly attempting to flee to Nagpur.

In Srinagar’s Baren Nishat area, a 45-year-old Hindu Bakarwal woman was allegedly subjected to gang rape and murdered by four Muslim men.
Police reported that the accused first assaulted the woman sexually and then killed her. The incident occurred while the woman was alone in her tent, as her family had gone to tend to their livestock.
Local residents reportedly rushed to the scene after hearing her screams, but the suspects had already fled. The woman was found in a bloodied and disheveled state and was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Srinagar police registered a case and subsequently arrested the four accused: Suhail Bashir Bhat, Adil Ali Bhat, Firdous Ahmed Rather, and Suhail Afzal Bhat.
76. Hindu Youth Killed in Mangaluru Over Old Feud
In Kinnikambla, four men allegedly attacked Hindu activist Suhas Shetty with swords and sticks, resulting in his death.
According to the Bajpe police, the assault occurred due to a longstanding personal enmity. A case has been registered against the unidentified assailants under relevant sections of the law.
77. Hindu Youth Shot Dead After Car Collision in Jhalawar
In Dag town, Hindu youth Shambhu Singh, who had arrived at a wedding for video shooting, was shot dead by two men, identified as Sohel Khan and Rehan.
According to the police, the incident began when the suspects struck Shambhu Singh with a blue car. Following an argument, they exited the vehicle and opened fire on him. Shambhu Singh was rushed to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Jhalawar police have taken Rehan into custody and have formed teams to apprehend the main accused, Sohel Khan, offering a reward of Rs 25,000 for information leading to his arrest.
78. 17-Year-Old Hindu Boy Stabbed to Death in Seelampur
In Seelampur’s J-Block, 17-year-old Hindu youth Kunal was stabbed to death by four men.
According to the family, Kunal was on his way to buy milk when the attack occurred, which they allege was premeditated. The Seelampur police have registered a murder case against the four accused and have arrested two of them, identified as Sahil and Zikra.
79. 26 Tourists Killed in Anantnag Attack in Jammu & Kashmir
In the Pahalgam area of Anantnag district, 26 tourists were killed and 17 others injured in an attack carried out by terrorists on 22 April 2025.
According to police reports, the attackers stopped the tourists to inquire about their identities. They separated men from women and children and instructed the men to recite Islamic verses. Those who failed to comply were shot. A first information report has been filed, and investigations are ongoing.
80. Delhi Man Killed by Neighbor Following Dispute
In Bharat Nagar, Delhi, a local dispute escalated into a fatal attack on 21 March 2025. According to police, a Muslim youth, Irshad, son of Jamal, attacked his Hindu neighbor Radheshyam following an earlier quarrel between children.
Police stated that Irshad first threw stones at Radheshyam’s house and subsequently fatally stabbed him. Bharat Nagar police have registered a case of murder against the accused and taken him into custody.
81. Thane Woman Murdered at Home, Suspect Arrested
In Ambivli, Thane district, a 60-year-old Hindu woman, Ranjana Patekar, was killed on 20 March 2025. Police reported that a Muslim youth, Akbar Mohammad Sheikh, also known as Chand, entered her home under the pretext of asking for water and fatally strangled her.
During the attack, the suspect also stole a pair of gold earrings valued at approximately one lakh rupees. Thane police arrested Akbar Mohammad Sheikh on 5 April 2025 and registered a case in connection with the murder.
82. Rajasthan Woman Killed in Home Over Family Dispute
In Husaini Nagar, Bhimganj Mandi police area of Kota, a Hindu woman, Sumitra, was fatally attacked in her home on 18 March 2025. Police stated that a 23-year-old Muslim youth, Aamir Pathan, also known as Shibbu, carried out the attack due to a family dispute.
The suspect inflicted multiple stab wounds on the woman’s chest and head. Bhimganj Mandi police have registered a case against Aamir Pathan under charges of murder.
83. Hindu Girl Killed After Assault, Attempt Made to Stage Suicide
In Umarcha village under Kurwai police jurisdiction, a 19-year-old Hindu girl was fatally attacked on 18 March 2025. Police reported that a Muslim youth, Mubarak Khan, entered the victim’s home, committed sexual assault, and subsequently killed her.
In an attempt to conceal the crime, the suspect hanged the body inside the house to make it appear as a suicide. Kurwai police have arrested Mubarak Khan in connection with the case.
84. Hindu Nurse Killed After Refusing Marriage, Thrown from Second Floor
A 20-year-old Hindu nurse, Nikita, employed at a private hospital, was killed on 17 March 2025 in a village under Asmoli police jurisdiction. Police stated that a Muslim youth, Zeeshan, had lured her into a relationship. When Nikita refused to marry him, Zeeshan, along with his associate Riaz, allegedly threw her from the hospital’s second floor, resulting in her death.
Asmoli police have registered a murder case and arrested both Zeeshan and Riaz in connection with the incident.
85. Hindu Girl Killed After Refusing Marriage, Body Found in Canal
A Hindu girl, Komal, residing in Sundari Nagar, Seemapuri, was found dead in Chhawla Canal on 17 March 2025. Police reported that a Muslim youth, Asif, had lured her into a relationship and sexually exploited her. When Komal refused to marry him, Asif allegedly killed her.
According to police, the accused tied a stone to her body before disposing of it in the canal. Asif, who works as a taxi driver, has been arrested by Chhawla police and charged with murder.
86. Hindu Youth Shot Dead in Ghazipur
A 32-year-old Hindu man, Rohit Chawda, was shot dead near Ghazipur Sabzi Mandi while returning from duty. Police reported that two Muslim youths, Naseem and Tariq, allegedly opened fire on him after he opposed their alleged drug-related activities in the area.
Ghazipur police have arrested both suspects and registered a case under the Arms Act and Sections 103(1)/3(5) of the Indian Penal Code.
87. Hindu Girl Abducted, Assaulted, and Murdered in Mohali
In the Jeerakpur police jurisdiction, a Hindu girl, Mitali, was abducted, sexually assaulted, and murdered. Police reported that Muslim youth Sultan Mohammed allegedly lured Mitali through a romantic relationship. He, along with three accomplices, abducted her, committed sexual assault, and beat her to death. The victim’s body was later wrapped in a tarpaulin and dumped in a drain in the Banood area.
Jeerakpur police have registered a murder case against Sultan Mohammed and the three other accused. Two of the accused have been arrested so far.
88. Hindu Girl Murdered Over Romantic Dispute, Body Dumped in River
In Haveri district, a 28-year-old Hindu girl, Swati Rakesh Byadgi, was allegedly murdered over a romantic dispute. Police reported that Muslim youth Nayyaz, along with two accomplices, lured Swati to an isolated school, where they strangled her to death. The body was subsequently dumped in the Tungabhadra River.
Haveri police have arrested the main accused, Nayyaz, along with the two other suspects, and registered a murder case.
89. Hindu Girl Murdered After Two Years of Abuse in Live-in Relationship
In Gurugram, a Hindu girl, Pooja, was allegedly killed by Muslim youth Mushtaq following two years of abuse in a live-in relationship. Police reported that Mushtaq had lured Pooja into a relationship and subjected her to exploitation over the period. When she resisted pressure to marry him, the accused allegedly murdered her.
After the killing, the accused reportedly decapitated the victim and concealed her body under a canal. Gurugram Sector-5 police have registered a murder case against Mushtaq.
90. Former MLA Lavoo Mamlatdar Beaten to Death in Belgaum
In Belgaum’s Bazaar police station area, former Fonda MLA Lavoo Mamlatdar was allegedly beaten to death by auto driver Mujahid following a verbal dispute.
Authorities reported that Mamlatdar succumbed to the injuries sustained during the assault. The Belgaum police have registered a murder case and arrested Mujahid in connection with the incident.
91. Dalit Hindu Girl Upasana Murdered in Unnao
In Talhi village, Unnao, Muslim youth Tauheed Ahmed allegedly lured 17-year-old Dalit Hindu girl Upasana under the pretext of meeting in the village forest and fatally attacked her with a knife on 10 February 2025.
According to police reports, Tauheed had previously trapped Upasana in a romantic relationship. Suspecting that their relationship would not continue, he reportedly planned the encounter in the forest. Upasana’s family filed a missing person complaint on 12 February 2025. Her body was recovered from the forest on 20 February 2025. Investigations revealed that the accused had dismembered the body and disposed of the parts at different locations.
Unnao police tracked Tauheed through call data records and apprehended him from Lahu-Talhi village on 21 February 2025 after he sustained a gunshot wound during an encounter. During questioning, Tauheed confessed to the murder.
92. Pregnant Woman Murdered by Muslim Youth in Gondia
In Babai village of Goregaon Tehsil, Gondia district, 38-year-old Muslim youth Shakeel Mustafa Siddiqui allegedly lured an 18-year-old Hindu woman into a romantic relationship, sexually assaulted her, and caused her pregnancy.
When the woman reportedly insisted on marriage, the accused allegedly took her to an isolated location on 9 February 2025, strangled her to death, and attempted to destroy evidence by setting the body on fire.
Local residents discovered a partially burned, semi-naked body in a field near the forest on the morning of 10 February 2025 and alerted the police. The Goregaon Police and Local Crime Branch recovered the body and launched an investigation. Shakeel Mustafa Siddiqui was arrested on charges of murder.
93. Husband Murdered After Wife Lured by Muslim Youth in Mumbai
In West Malvani, Malad, Mumbai, Muslim youth Imran Mansoori allegedly lured a Hindu woman into a romantic relationship and sexually assaulted her. When the woman’s husband discovered the matter, the accused reportedly murdered him on 8 February 2025.
According to Malvani Police, the accused allegedly gave the husband alcohol and then stabbed him to death. After the murder, the body was transported on a motorcycle and abandoned at a deserted location.
The Malvani Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and taken the accused into custody.
94. Minor Hindu Girl Murdered in Lakhimpur Kheeri, 6 Accused Arrested
A 17-year-old Hindu minor girl from Goria village under Padhua police station area in Lakhimpur Kheeri district was abducted by Muslim youth Asif on January 25, 2025, after being lured.
The accused allegedly took her to Dehradun and raped her forcibly. Thereafter, Asif and his associates pressured her to convert to Islam.
When the minor refused to accept Islam, Asif along with his associates murdered her on January 30, 2025.
Lakhimpur police arrested six persons in the case, including Asif, Salman, Razb, and Juber.
95. Tribal Woman Murdered After Sexual Assault in Godda, Jharkhand; Suspect-A muslim man got Arrested
A 22-year-old Hindu tribal woman from the Sundarpahadi area in Godda district was allegedly raped and murdered by Muslim youth Anwar Ansari on 30 January 2024.
The victim belonged to the Pahadia community, categorized as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) in Jharkhand. According to her family, Anwar Ansari first sexually assaulted the woman and then killed her by strangulation. The accused had fled the scene following the incident.
Godda Police have recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. Anwar Ansari has been arrested in connection with the case.
96. Married Hindu Woman Murdered After Refusing Religious Conversion in Ramgarh, Jharkhand
In Ramgarh district’s Gola police station area, a married Hindu woman named Manju was allegedly lured into a sexual relationship by Muslim youth Afsar Ansari, also known as Raja Ansari, over several years. When she refused to convert her religion, the accused allegedly killed her on 25 January 2025 by slitting her throat.
According to Gola police, Raja Ansari worked as a cabinet maker in the village. Earlier, land belonging to Manju’s husband, Kalindra Munda, was acquired under the Bharatmala project for expressway construction, for which he received substantial compensation. Police stated that Raja Ansari was allegedly interested in this money.
Gola police arrested Afsar Ansari on the morning of 26 January 2025 and sent him to jail in connection with the case.
97. Elderly Hindu Man Killed in Minor Dispute in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh
In Nilkanth Colony, under Model Town police post in Amroha, an elderly Hindu man, Harbans Lal (79), was allegedly beaten to death by his Muslim neighbors over a minor dispute.
According to the victim’s son, on the evening of 15 January 2025, the neighbors, Sagir Ahmed and his wife, attacked his father while he was having a fiber sheet installed on the boundary wall of his house. The conflict reportedly arose because the neighbors objected to the installation of nuts and bolts on the sheet. The victim’s son informed the Baradari police about the incident, stating that the neighbors regularly cooked meat, which had led to tensions over the wall installation.
Police registered a case against Sagir Ahmed and his wife and took them into custody following the complaint.
98. Husband Killed by Wife’s Alleged Muslim Lovers in Amroha
In the village of Khetapur Jahangirpuri under Hasanpur police station, a Hindu man, Jagdish, was allegedly killed by two Muslim men, Rihan and Shahnawaz, along with his wife, Babita.
According to police reports, on 10 January 2025, Babita, together with her two alleged lovers, lured Jagdish under the pretext of getting him medicine and carried out the murder. The victim’s body was subsequently abandoned near the village of Karnpur.
On 22 January 2025, Hasanpur police arrested the accused, Rihan son of Usman, Shahnawaz son of Salamtullah of Panju Sarai village, and the victim’s wife, Babita, in connection with the case.
99. Student Killed After Opposing Harassment in Gorakhpur
In Chauri-Chaura, Gorakhpur, a college student was killed on 5 January 2025 after opposing harassment, according to police reports. The incident occurred in front of the Bhatgawan Panchayat Bhavan, where the accused, Gulzar and Salman, ran over two cousins with a loader van.
One of the students died on the spot, while the other sustained serious injuries. The victims were on their way to appear for an examination at a college in Jagdishpur.
Following a complaint by the victim’s uncle, Gorakhpur police registered a case and arrested Gulzar Ali, also known as Rehman Ali, a resident of Kaithwalia village, in connection with the incident.
100. Nagpur: Farm Laborer Killed on South Express After Resisting Theft
A farm laborer, Shushank Ramsingh Raj, was beaten to death on 2 January 2025 aboard the South Express, which runs from Hazrat Nizamuddin, Delhi, to Nagpur, after resisting a theft attempt, police reported. The incident also left his companion, Kapil Kumar, with serious injuries.
According to authorities, Raj and Kapil were traveling to Jhansi and had boarded the train at Secunderabad. While sleeping, the accused, Syed Sameer, Mohammad Fayaz Hasimuddin, and two others attempted to steal Rs 1,700 in cash and a mobile phone from Kapil’s pocket. Kapil woke up and resisted the theft, prompting the attackers to assault him and Raj.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) took all four accused into custody after the train passed Sevagram station.
