SAGAR: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has entered its centenary year, and our primary objective is to reach out to 15 crore families across India. Sangh has faced mockery and neglect since its inception and therefore does not fear opposition or indifference. The Sangh has always worked with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, said Ramlal, Akhil Bharatiya Sampark Pramukh of RSS at the “Yuva Samvad” (Youth Dialogue) programme, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, on January 13, 2026.

He added that the Sangh strives to inspire the younger generation to think, speak, and act well. Owing to the youth’s contributions, India today is engaging with leading nations on equal footing, he further said.

He further said that whenever the nation faces a crisis, RSS swayamsevaks are the first to step forward, a fact widely appreciated by all. Sharing an anecdote related to Agra, he recalled that during the plague outbreak in Surat, resident doctors from Agra Medical College, who were swayamsevaks of the Sangh, fearlessly went to Surat to help plague victims.

During the interaction session, Shri Ramlal also addressed the youth’s queries. Responding to a question on migration, he said that quality education and good healthcare facilities are now being established even in villages, and RSS swayamsevaks, through organisations such as Vidya Bharati, Seva Bharati, NMO, and others, are working to deliver better facilities to remote rural areas.

In response to another question, he remarked that individualism is increasing within families and that there is a need to broaden our sense of identity. He said that our greatest identity is that of being Hindu and belonging to a shared culture.

Addressing the youth, chief guest Dr Deepanshu Dubey said, “Instant pleasure” is a major challenge for today’s younger generation. He emphasised that India’s youth should plan their actions with long-term goals in mind.

The programme concluded with the recitation of Vande Mataram by Neelam Mishra and other students from the university’s Department of Music. Youth participants also performed the traditional Bundelkhand folk dance, Badhai, along with other cultural performances. A total of 700 youths from 35 different categories participated in the dialogue programme through prior registration.
