In a major expose of the Pakistan-Turkey illicit nexus involved against India during Operation Sindoor , Indian Army has unveiled a solid evidence. In an exclusive video accessed by a private media platform, the Indian Army has showcased a made-in-Turkey drone which was completely weaponised and launched from Lahore. This was one among the hundreds of massive scale drones launched from Pakistan targeting India. These drones apparently targeted the military establishments and civilian spaces in India across the Pakistan border from Jammu & Kashmir to Gujarat.

The turkey-based drones intruding into India from Pakistan during Operation Sindoor were successfully intercepted by the Indian security forces and were neutralised, thus protecting the civilian and military spaces of the country and securing the overall security apparatus of the nation. These turkey-made drones recovered from the conflict sites were deconstructed and put on display at the Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi’s house in New Delhi on the occasion of Vijay Diwas.

The video accessed by NDTV, a private media platform showcased this weaponised drone thus a solid proof for the illicit involvement of Turkey in India’s conflict with Pakistan. The drone from Turkey is identified as YIHA-33, which is a Kamikaze or popularly called as suicide drone, which is said to be jointly developed by Pakistan and Turkey. Despite Pakistan launching a massive wave of drones targeting India, the state-of-the-art missile and air defense system of India successfully neutralised all the attacks.

The Turkey-based YIHA-33 drone displayed at the Army Chief’s residence, was flying at an altitude of 2,000 metres when it was shot down by the Indian security forces. It is said to be launched from Lahore International Airport ingrained with nearly 10kg of explosive munitions. With a range of 190km, the drone had 2m wing span and is said to be powered by a 170cc two stroke engine. It was targeted towards Indian Airforce Base Hoshiarpur in Punjab. However, the Indian Army targeted and shot it down at Amritsar. The recovered drone thus revealed crucial evidence regarding the nexus between Turkey and Pakistan against India.

The drones and other equipment recovered from the conflict zones by the Indian Army have been critically analysed since Operation Sindoor, including their fire flight control system and other components. These critical and sensitive information are crucial to understand the hidden agenda of the enemies and thereby consolidate the security architecture of the country. Reports also claim that Pakistan used Turkish-made ‘Songar’ armed drones. The latest display of Turkish suicide drone by the Indian Army, thus reveals a deep nexus between Pakistan and Turkey illicitly targeting India to fulfill their hegemonic and poisonous motives.

However, the Indian Army, its cutting-edge defence system coupled with the strong military expertise, strategic superiority and political will, etched a clear strategic deterrence against Pakistan, thwarting all the attempts to breach the sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security of India.
