New Delhi: “The narrative war launched by anti-national forces is not confined to the ideological realm alone but has also spilled over into the physical sphere, resulting in massive bloodshed across the country and beyond. The recent violent incidents that took place in Sri Lanka and some other neighboring countries are examples,” said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Shri Sunil Ambekar. He was speaking after the inaugurating a media platform DesiNarrative.com at Keshav Kunj in New Delhi on December 4.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sunil Ambekar said, “In an era where anti-nationals wage fake narrative wars, a media platform like Desi Narrative is very much needed for the country, not just for Kerala and Tamil Nadu.”
“It is imperative to counter such anti-national narratives with facts and original research. I believe that, as its name suggests, Desi Narrative can contribute in that direction and help establish the true Desi Narrative in public discourse,” he said.

Shri Sunil Ambekar expressed hope that the platform would help the younger generation connect with their cultural and historical roots. He also invited experts and writers to contribute content to the initiative.
“DesiNarrative.com is a multilingual media platform dedicated to providing thoughtful, historically grounded, and context-rich perspectives on news and ideas. We aim to go beyond headlines, offering our readers deeper insights into current events, cultural discourse, and ideological matters that shape our society,” said Dr. P. Sandeep Kumar in the welcome address on behalf of the DesiNarrative.

“Our goal is not just to report events but to help interpret them, ensuring that our audiences gain depth, clarity, and a nuanced understanding of the world around them,” he said.

“When news cycles are fast and often superficial, Desi Narrative seeks to create a space for in-depth analysis and enduring content. Our mission is to inform, educate, and empower our audiences with well-researched narratives that endure beyond the daily news,” stated Ganesh Radhakrishnan, the editor of the media platform in a press release.

“The media platform is now available in both English and Malayalam. It will be made available to readers in other languages like Tamil and Hindi in the near future,” Ganesh added.
