The revelation made by the now surrendered Maoist has raised serious concerns about cadres of the group clandestinely mingling with mainstream students and furthering the unlawful group’s ideology among them.

It is worth mentioning here that Maoists have often received ideological or moral support from a certain quarter mostly consist of people posing as activists and intellectuals.

Several experts including those from academia have time and again raised concern about Maoist’s sympathisers furthering extremist’s ideology in colleges and university campuses describing it a major threat.

The revelation made by Maoist’s spokesperson has once again underscored the grave threat posed by such Naxal cadres who in guise of studying mixed up with mainstream students while continue to be an active member of the extremist group.
